Herro! This is my first fanfic… :3 I am a huge fan of Star Wars the Clone Wars so writing a fanfic about it is awesome.
Echo is one of my favorite clones, and I hated the part where he died. so I rewrote the scene! :D

Echo grabbed the guard's shield and ran for the ship, yelling, "This is our only chance!"
"Echo! NO!" cried Fives. But Echo had already ran into the shuttle's entrance. Just then the turret shot and the Separatist ship blew up… along with Echo.
As the others were about to continue on their way, grieving their friend, they attached cables to the edge of the platform and jumped off.
Unbeknownst to them, a rather battered clone with scratched-up armor emerged from the wreckage and picked up his blackened helmet. It seemed the others had left without him.
"Guess I'll have to catch up," he said with a grin, placing the helmet back on his head.

Obi-Wan walked over to Anakin and said quietly, "I sense a presence. Do you sense it too?" His former Padawan nodded. The two walked along the path and were talking about the strange sensation they'd felt until Even caught up to them.
"Captain Tarkin heard something in the rubble move," the Jedi Master informed them. Frowning, Anakin commented, "We have to let Echo go. Dwelling on someone dead won't help the mission."
They were about to reach the cliffs when out of several craters came droids on speeders.
"Blast!" Obi-Wan yelled, drawing his lightsaber. The three Jedi blocked several shots, then were joined by Ahsoka. Twirling her two sabers, the Padawan sliced a droid in half, sending its head into the lava. "We have to move!" she called to her Master, flipping over another droid and stabbing its chest.
The group was heading away from the remaining droids when Citadel commandos circled them.
"There's no escape!" Anakin said, frustrated. "We have to stand and fight." One of the commandos tapped a certain button on his utility belt and Anakin's robotic arm shut off along with all of the lightsabers and blasters. Cursing, the hotheaded Jedi, whacked his right arm with his left.
"Now is no time for maintenance!" Obi-Wan scolded him. Glaring at his friend, Anakin replied fiercely, "It just shut off! That commando did something to it!"
Obi-Wan was about to retort scathingly when he froze and said, "There's wires underneath us. They're charged!"
Thinking fast, Anakin lifted his comrades with the Force, and got the full shock of electricity. Yelling in pain, he dropped to his knees, but managed to keep the others in the air. "Master!" Ahsoka cried, when the charge stopped and Anakin fell forward, releasing the others. Propping up her mentor, the young apprentice, glanced around at the circle of droids. They were trapped, and the charge could come again at any moment.
Which is when a hand grenade exploded three feet away.
It blew out the wires and most of the commandos, allowing Obi-Wan and Even to easily dispatch the rest with their now-functioning weapons. Scanning the clifftop, Rex asked, "Who was that?"
In reply, a familiar helmet poked up above the rock.
