A Love That Lasted

A Love That Lasted

Author's Note: I don't own Rhonda, Sid, or 'Hey Arnold!' in general.

I do, however, own the character Chris Taylor, my made up kid. J

BTW, the story is in Sid's point of view, I'll write the story again in

Rhonda's point of view later…

I opened my eyes; I saw a most beautiful sight. Each angel made one fiery star twinkle it's brightest. I loved the color of the nighttime sky, and I was here just in time to see it. The moon was crescent, not full, but I didn't like full moons that much anyway. The waves were dying back into the ocean, leaving its dark stain back on the sand. What a wonderful beach.

What made it even better was the girl who was sitting next to me, the most beautiful girl in the world, Rhonda Wellington Lloyd. Her slick, raven hair barely reached her shoulders. She had the deepest, yet softest eyes, so genuine, and purifying. She was wearing a red and white striped tankini, which looked expensive, but it made sense, only the best for Rhonda. I drove my eyes down the pretty road of her body.

Her slender figure was better than that of any model. I let out a romantic sigh while gazing at her beauty. And me? Well I was wearing blue swimming shorts. I was still chilly, though. So chilly, I grabbed Rhonda's arm and held it rather tightly, letting her warmth trail all over my body. Her skin was almost as silky soft as her hair, shimmering beautifully by the moonlight.

But, more importantly, I was touching HER. It's a feeling so unexplainable, so explosive, that it didn't matter if she loved me back, just that we were touching. I felt a jolt of amazement and surprise go through me as I felt her coil her arm around mine. My heart stopped for a moment. I couldn't move, what should I do? I just sat there, enjoying it all the way until she stopped and looked at me with a coy smile.

Oh, no! I thought, had I done something wrong? But, I found out I hadn't done anything, Rhonda dug her hands through the sand and crawled a little closer to me and closed her eyes. She was going to kiss me. That was when…

BEEP!!! BEEP!!! BEEP!!!

My alarm clock shrieked, and woke me up. I HATE IT WHEN THAT HAPPENS!!! I started grumbling and turned it off. My hands radiated the coldness of the wooden table to my body. I wrapped my self in my blanket quickly. It was a bit slow on making me warm, but it did, eventually. The problem was, I didn't want to wake up to go to school!

Author's Note: Well, that's the end of this chapter; sorry if it was too short, I thought it took a long time writing it! Well, I know this doesn't fit with the summary, but it will in the next chapter! I promise! Well, thanks for reading, I hope you like it, now do me a favor and review, please! (Oh, and it's my first time writing. Please be gentle…J)
