"Hey guys! Let's play hide and seek!" Freddy suggested when he and his band mates were bored. "Okay! You guys hide, I'll find you!" Bonnie agreed. "Can Foxy and the human play, too?" Chica asked. "Yeah! I'll go tell Foxy and the nightguard!" Freddy replied, wandering off the stage, looking for Foxy.
"Foxy? Foxy?" The animatronic bear called out when he reached Pirate Cover. A few years ago, Freddy had taken a giant bite out of a little girl's head. She was alright later, but that caused Pirate Cove to shut down, even though it wasn't Foxy who bit her. They were a bit distant since then. But they weren't mean to each other. They simply didn't talk unless needed. Like now, Foxy was needed to play Hide and Seek. "Foxy, where are you? I'm not gonna hurt you!" He joked. A few minutes later, he heard a shriek of fear and agony in the office. Bonnie or Chica must have found the human and stuffed him into a suit. Ignoring the noise, Freddy continued to search around for the pirate fox.
"There you are!" The animatronic bear said playfully, finding Foxy hiding behind some boxes. "I heard you were playing Hide and Seek, so I decided to take the chance then." Foxy explained, not using his pirate accent. That was only for performances, which he wouldn't be doing anytime soon. Freddy nodded and smiled slightly. "So they killed ─err, g-gave gifts to the n-nightguard. Sooo, yeah." He stuttered slightly. Whenever Freddy and Foxy talked─if they ever talked, they would sometimes stutter and even glitch a little bit. "Oh...okay." Foxy nodded his head. The two animatronics sat down on the wooden floor. "So what to you wanna talk about?"
"I don't know." Freddy replied.
"Me neither." They just sat there in silence for a while. Finally, Foxy said, "So how's everything going? Like, without me and stuff?" Freddy thought for a second. No human seemed to care about Foxy. Some people even said mean things about him. He wasn't sure about the animatronics, either. And Freddy wasn't sure how he felt about Foxy not being part of the Fazbear Crew.
"I─I liked it better when you were part of us. " He finally decided to say. "I don't know about the others, but I kind of miss you. It's my fault you're even out of the crew." Foxy stayed silent. Freddy continued.
"The humans have no mind at all. You were completely innocent. They should have put me out of order. Not you. Everything is all screwed up. We're killing humans, injuring little children, and the reason we are doing this is all because of me! I HATE how everything is going! I─"
"It isn't all your fault!" Foxy interrupted. Freddy stopped talking. "How is it NOT my fault? I caused the "Bite", I was the first to kill the employees, I put you out of order! How is this NOT my fault?" He snapped back harshly. Foxy paused for a moment, startled by his loud voice. "I-If that guy didn't kill those children, we wouldn't even be here in the first place." He said shakily. The lead singer stared at Foxy's golden eyes. They were absolutely mesmerizing. "I guess so." He sighed. He rested on the fox's shoulder. "I still miss you."
"I miss you, too." He replied, putting an arm around Freddy. "But maybe there's a chance that I could be back..."
"Yeah, if the humans are open eyed enough." Freddy said. Suddenly, he heard a voice coming from the hallway.
"Hey, where's Freddy and Foxy? We haven't seen them in like, 10 minutes!" The first voice said. It sounded exactly like Chica.
"Maybe there in the Cove! C'mon!" A voice that sounded like Bonnie replied cheerfully.
"Hey, Foxy! Let's hide, or they're gonna find us!" Freddy nudged his friend. Foxy looked at Freddy and nodded. "Okay. Let's hide."
