I can't believe they're doing this to me. Does this mean they don't love me? I never asked for this. But they're sending me there anyway. They say they're doing it to look out for my best interests. But is sending me away to some boarding school REALLY looking out for my best interests? Sometimes I wonder. Both Mom and Dad are researchers. Why can't they teach me about Pokémon, and I'll read up on training the Pokémon? They just won't listen to me. I personally think I have a good point. They think I'm just afraid of the unknown. They're right. A boarding school for kids who want to become Pokémon trainers. That's where they decided to send me. I think this might have something to do with the two of them wanting to have another kid. If that's the case, I'll go. But what if that's not it? Are they just trying to get rid of me? This is a five-year school. And from what I've read (and actually understood) it's pretty demanding. The students have to catch their own first Pokémon from the grounds. Not only that, they still have to take written exams and whatnot. It just isn't fair. I'm only seven years old, for crying out loud! It's like they don't care. Or do they? It might not be so bad at the school. It sounds strict, but I might be able to make some friends there. I haven't made much luck at this school. The other kids generally avoid me. Of course, those that decide to pick on me regret it. I've learned how to pay them back. In spades. But this school might be tougher for me. I've always been interested in the legendary Dragon type. There are so few Pokémon of the Dragon type, and those are all so rare! From what my parents have told me, there are only three true Dragons: Dratini, Dragonair, and Dragonite. I don't care. I'll catch one no matter what! My dream has always been to be the ultimate Dragon master. I've looked through all the Pokémon books, and I know what Pokémon I want on my team when I get it: I want a Dragonite, no doubt about it. And an Aerodactyl. It looks like a Dragon, and it's powerful, too. I also want a Gyarados, the water serpent. They have bad tempers, but I bet I can control them. And a Dragonair, maybe two, since it's rumored that they have the ability to control weather patterns. They're also great wave- riders! I always thought that was cool. Maybe I will go to this boarding school. Mom and Dad are right; it will be good for my years as a trainer. It'll prepare me for the hard years. Maybe I'll even become one of the Elite masters. Yeah, that's exactly what I'll do. I'll become the Dragon master, and no one will be able to stand up to me! I have a month to get ready. And believe me, I'll be ready. Nothing is going to stand in the way of my dream. Nothing at all. Nothing.
