The are many tales of the phantom of the opera some say that he was a real man who caused that tragic accident on that fateful night. Causing a singer to disappear. Her name was Christine Daae and she was caught in a tragic love circle between a madman and a man of high class. Now it is my honor to bring to you the story which I believe really happened that night but first I must start out at the beginning…
Chapter One: The start of a new beginning
Monsieur Debienne and Monsieur Polingy were reliving there last moments at the opera. For they have grown tired of the chores that the opera demanded. They left all there responsibility's to the new mangers Armand Moncharmin and Firmin Richard. A couple days before they finally met the new mangers a catastrophe hit. The lead Stagehand of the opera had been strangled. Some say he killed himself but the majority of the performers say it was the Opera Ghost! The stagehands name was Joseph Buquet and he was known for his horror stories about the Opera Ghost he told one every night to the young ballet dancers and for that he finally got what he asked for. The stagehand was found between a flap and set piece from a play that was hardly ever used. The investigation though didn't last long for the police had no evidence in order to state it was a murder. So the case ended a few days after stating that he committed suicide. All of these memories of this event had run over and over in the mangers mind and they had wondered what will happen if the new mangers had found out about it. At the sound of knocking at there door they quickly brushed the thought out of there minds.
"Come in" said Monsieur Debienne
The door opened and standing in the opening was the new mangers Armand Moncharmin and Firmin Richard.
"Welcome, Welcome my dear good friends. Please, Please sit down I have just finished all the paper work now if you just sign here the opera will be all yours." said Monsieur Polingy " Thank you very much, we are both sorry for all of the rush we just can't wait to start our new careers as the new mangers of the opera populaire." replied Firmin Richard taking out a pen and rereading the papers that sat in front of him.
"If you don't mind me asking gentlemen but is it true that a stagehand just got hung a few days ago here?" ask Armand Moncharmin
Both mangers look at each other with frightful faces.
"well you see….." said Debienne
"yes it is true we are unfortunate that during this time this had to occur we here at the opera all devastated at the disaster and are sorry that we must sign over the opera to you at this time." said Polingy
"well we are glad to here the truth from somebody. Do you know what happened exactly? Said Firmin Richard
"no one is really sure what happened down there that night. But the police believe it was a suicide for there wasn't enough evidence to state it as a murder." replied Debienne
After a couple hours of discussing that matter Polingy quickly switched to a different topic to make sure that the new managers don't change there minds about the opera.
"So now should we get these papers signed already? I mean don't you want those free seats for tonight's performance? Asked Polingy
"Oh yes, yes I think we delayed to much lets get those papers signed we really wouldn't want to miss tonight's performance I would think that the cast would think down upon us if we were to miss it" replied Moncharmin.
After all the papers got signed the four mangers shook hands and Moncharmin and Firmin were the new owners of the Opera Popularie.
