Drabble: Distraction
Elizabeth glanced over at her boyfriend as he drove along the quiet streets of suburban London. She smiled, admiring his beautiful profile. She was a lucky lady to have Will Turner for a beau.
As if sensing her eyes on him, he quickly looked at her before returning his gaze to the street ahead. "What are you thinking, Liz?" he questioned.
She shrugged and turned her attention back to the street as well. "I don't know."
"You never know anything," he said in a teasing voice.
"Oh shut up," she grinned, smacking his shoulder playfully.
"See; right there!" he exclaimed. "You should know never to distract someone when they're driving, but of course you don't."
She rolled her eyes. "That wasn't a distraction."
"It was indeed."
"Oh really?"
"Yes, really."
There was a small pause, and then Elizabeth leaned over and rested her head on his shoulder. "I can give you a real distraction if you want."
Will glanced down at her amusedly. "What are you implying, Miss Swann?"
"Nothing," she murmured, nuzzling her head into his neck.
"I don't believe you," he said simply. "If I know you, and I'm pretty certain that I do, you're plotting something."
"Only a distraction," she replied.
"Elizabeth! If you make me crash and we both die, it will be all your fault!"
"Don't worry," she murmured. "I'll be extra careful."
(A/N:) Yay for short random drabbly things!!! These are helping me through my depression, and they're fun to write. Lol. ;)
