A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MERCENARY CLAN

CHAPTER 1: The Leader

Author's Notes

Hiya guys! This is yet another story for Call of Duty, based off my clan in Multiplayer, called MERC, and off another story I read, called The Multiplayer Chronicles by Lonewolf658. The author of that story is a freakin' awesome writer, I suggest you check out his stuff. I give him credit for anything I use that is similar to his. Anyone who has Black Ops 2 for Xbox and wants to add me, My gamertag is ShyerTheFox. I am currently the only one in the clan. So when someone joins, I will type a chapter for them. It will mostly be fictional characters though. Rate and Review, Flames Welcome.

It was yet another boring day at the clan headquarters. Also a lonely one, as I just started this clan, and invited some of my friends on the friends list. I opened up the armory and checked what equipment I should create a class with. I made my LEADER status class, as it's just a standard issue M27 I got from the boss. He allowed me to branch out the jobs available, but to a more dedicated team of people. I fixed up my M27 Stock to make it adjustable, only to tape a mag upside down on a normal magazine. "Well, this class is set up now..." I said to nobody in particular. Nobody was around in this office. I sighed again, checking my friends list. I couldn't contact my close friend Luis, as he was in another clan. "This day sucks already."

Matches on the Revolution Maps were sweet, Grind being my personal favorite. Recruiting was another problem, as being a 1st prestige (And being considered a Squeaker at 14) makes it legitimately hard to get people to join. So, I tried to show some skill on the battlefield. A match had just loaded on Grind, and some people were talking, acting like soldiers. I was interested.

"Johnny, go with Ashley behind enemy lines, and take them out from there. Marlton, you and Gabriel will go around the other way. I'll flank them from the middle. GO!" He commanded his game plan as his loyal followers were heading through their respective pathways.

"You need help?" I asked cautiously. He nodded.

"Follow me. We're the test dummies of the plan. You have my back, and I got yours. Understand?" He asked me in return. I nodded simply, and walked through the main building, holding my M27 steady, and looking through the iron sights.

"Throwing a motion sensor..." The player said. He tossed it, and it made a beeping noise before exploding.

"Alright, we have two hostiles through that window. It doesn't matter if we die, considering we're only the test dummies. Ash and Marlton got this." He said, and I pulled out my combat knife.

"I'll distract them. I need you to cover me, just in case this goes to hell." I stated. He nodded, and pulled out a suppressed Peacekeeper SMG, with EDtech, and Blue Tiger camo. I snuck up the stairs silently, pulled the pin of a concussion grenade, and threw it. They were covering their eyes, and I took my chance. I ran up to one, stabbed him in the neck, and threw my knife at the other soldier. The knife hit the mark; IN BETWEEN THE EYES! I grinned.

"Kills confirmed." I said into the mic. I received a cheer from my teammates, and the round ended, saying in bold captions: Round win, all enemies eliminated. It felt so good to win sometimes.

This was all I could really think up for this chapter. Thanks for reading, Rate and Review if you need to.
