This is a found poem I made for my ELA class.
A found poem uses words directly from the story so I want you to know that I do not own any of this except the order the words are in.
All of it is from the
Clan of the Cave Bear by Jean M. Auel.
Enjoy.
Despair of a Child
A scraped, bruised heap,
laying in the mud.
Too tired, too weak,
too miserable to move.
Large tears welled up,
and streamed down her face.
Plaintive wails rent the air.
Shoulders heaved with sobs of desperation.
No one heard
the cries begging for help.
No one came
to comfort the lonely, miserable child.
Did you like it? Please tell me.
If anyone reviews I'll post a second poem.
Please review!
