I'm currently learning Poetry in Literature class and once we learnt of 'I am' poems I decided to do some for the anime characters Wish me luck in capturing their personalities!
First up, L from Death Note (This was fun, by the way )

I am a sweet-toothed, insomniac detective
I wonder why socks feel weird on my feet (and why I don't wear them)
I hear the cries of the lost souls
I see Kira accepting his defeat (Don't lie Yagami-kun, I KNOW it's you)
I want more sweets
I am a sweet-toothed, insomniac detective
I pretend to not stare at Yagami-kun's chest while he's changing
I feel that maybe, just maybe, I like Yagami-kun
I touch the stars and I pretend that they are Yagami-kun's beautiful eyes (No, I don't intend to poke his eyes and blind him)
I worry that Misa-san's jealousy might lead to her murdering me
I cry about injustice in this world
I am a sweet-toothed, insomniac detective
I understand that Yagami-kun and I can never be together
I say that Kira is in NO WAY justice
I dream of running my hands through that (probably) silky-soft brown hair
I try to keep my feelings hidden
I hope that one day I will be able to kiss those lips
