Disclaimer: I don't own a thing! Not "The Ring," not "DreamWorks Home Entertainment," or even my own video camera. Darn . . .
A/N: This is my second "The Ring" poem. I'm so glad that Algebra class is so freakin' boring! Enjoy and review!
Summary: Samara's thoughts/emotions as someone watches the video.
~The Tape, My Life~
Inside the darkness
I wait
For someone to give their life to me . . .
To watch the tape;
The tape of horrors
The tape of a nightmare
The tape of my life
Static . . .
The tape has ended
So has the viewer's life
I feel their fear
Their racing heart . . .
The phone rings
They pick it up
And put it to their ear
And hear my whispered words:
"Seven days"
They hang up the phone
Laugh . . .
It's only a joke
But they know . . .
They know their death is coming
They know their life will end
Just as mine ended
That day
Standing over the well
Where I met my doom
And the world met theirs . . .
