Ok so I decided to revamp my characters Eclipse and Stratus and write some one shots about them.

Eclipse patrolled the streets of Canterlot with her partner Firefly. He was a bat pony with light yellow skin and such a brightly colored mane anypony could think that he was just a regular pegasus. As they walked down the street, shrieks and screaming could be heard. They went to a quick gallop and turned the corner.
A two story house was aflame.
"Firefly, get help!" She ordered. He saluted and took to the skies. Looking around the crowd of soot covered faces, her ears picked up screaming.
"My baby! My baby is in there! Someone cried. "Where is she?" Eclipse asked. "On the second floor, that window." The mare pointed.
Without a second thought, Eclipse burst into the fiery building.
"Hello?" She shouted, the smoke filling in her lungs, Burning wood fell around her, and she used her wings to cover her face. Making her way up the stairs, she paused right before a wooden beam crashed down upon the stairs, breaking them. She took a breath, ran, and jumped over the chasm onto the second floor.
"Help me! A filly cried.
"Move away from the door!" She yelled, and then smashed it to bits with a kick. Frantically searching the room, Eclipse found a small unicorn filly. She picked her up and went for the door, but fire licked at the edges, threatening to consume them.
By now panic had set in on Eclipse, and her breathing was shallow and ragged.
The filly whimpered and clutched Eclipse's chest, and she comforted the filly by soothingly stroking her hair.
"Ok, we've gotta get out of here." Eclipse ran to the window. It was a far drop, and she didn't want to risk the filly getting hurt. "Is anyone here a unicorn?" She yelled into the crowd. A few pones stepped forward. "Levitate her down! I can't carry her!"
The unicorns obliged, and soon the filly was safe.
"Step back!" She ordered, and the crowd moved away. She stepped gingerly onto the windowsill, and extended her wings. As she jumped to get away, a burning log caught her hoof, and she bit her lip against the pain. Then, she jumped, extending her wings wide.
A burst of pain caught her mid flight, and she cried out crashing into the ground. The crowd gasped, and shouts could be heard as help arrived.
"What happened?" Captain Flash Sentry asked, and gasped. Firefly followed behind him.
"Get her on a stretcher." Flash ordered, and a group of medical ponies took Eclipse gently onto the stretcher and carried her away.
