Chapter 1
The Saviors
It was a normal morning at the Speed Racer Racing Academy for Speed and X but when they got to Connor's garage the place was trashed! The cars were still there but the place was completely trashed! "What happened here?" asked X "I don't know but let's see if anyone is here," replied Speed. Just then the two boys heard someone groan "Hello is someone there?" Speed asked the boys heard the groan again "It came from over there," said X pointing to where a lot of wood covered an area. The boys started to remove
the wood when X stopped all of a sudden
"X what's the matter?" asked Speed. X pointed to an area of the wood and right there was a shoe just like the pair Lucy always wore. "Speed we have to hurry Lucy could be seriously hurt!" exclaimed X "You're right!" said Speed. They started removing the wood even faster till they had finally dug Lucy all the way out. "Lucy are you okay?" asked Speed "I'm not sure but my legs definitely aren't." replied Lucy great pain present in her voice Speed and X were very scared for Lucy they didn't know how hurt she was "Hello Speed, X, and Lucy!" exclaimed professor Win seeing Lucy in Speed's arms and in great pain "What happened here?" asked Professor Win "We came to Connor's Garage to see if Connor had finished our car repairs but when we got here the place was trashed." Said Speed "And then we noticed a big pile of wood and we saw that Lucy was underneath all of it so we dug her out and here she is now." Said X he was trying to sound brave for Lucy's sake but on the inside he was falling to pieces how could this have happened to Lucy! It seemed to him he had a perfect world now and then Lucy had to get hurt it was like his whole world was crashing down in front of him. "I'll call an ambulance they should take a look at Lucy's legs," said Professor Win and she went to Head Master Spritle's office to call an ambulance. "How did this happen Lucy?" asked Speed "I came to check the repairs too but someone tried to hurt me he started hitting my legs with a stick or something!" said Lucy "Did the person do anything else?" asked X "He hit the roof with something and it crashed down on top of me!" said Lucy. X was now very ticked why would anyone do this to Lucy? He would not let this happen again not to Lucy not to anyone! Finally the ambulance got there it was confirmed that Lucy's legs were broken it would be weeks maybe even months before she could walk again and X and Speed were really mad because Lucy could more easily hurt now. "I'm sorry this happened in my garage Lucy I hope you're feeling better." Said Connor "I am feeling better thanks to X and Speed." Said Lucy she wheeled over to the two of them and kissed them both on the cheek and that is where the competition began the competition for Lucy's love.
Chapter 2
Who Will Win?
2 Months Later
Speed was with Lucy and they were taking a walk (Lucy could finally walk again) "It's such a beautiful day isn't it Speed?" asked Lucy "it sure is." said Speed but he was thinking 'but not as beautiful as you' but he was a shy guy not like X who could ask out a girl when he wanted to and not feel weird. "Speed are you okay you look so distant?" asked Lucy but Speed was feeling a surge of confidence so big that he could explode! He walked over to Lucy and kissed her! "Speed," Lucy said. "Shh we'll talk later," Said Speed. They kissed again only this time for longer. "Lucy you are one of my reasons I race and one of the reasons I never give up." Said Speed
