Author's Note: Hello! This is my first Undertale fic. I finally feel like I've played it enough to portray the characters correctly, so here ya go! Reviews are always appreciated, as are follows and favorites. Oh, I don't own Undertale or any of the characters. Enjoy!
Alphys sighed as she looked at the flyer for the human fan club. She really did love humans, that wasn't the problem. The problem was going to be talking to god knows how many other monsters about them. Alphys tended to avoid any social interaction, but the thought of talking about nothing but humans for an hour was almost enticing enough to have her walk right in. Almost. She was standing outside hesitating when a pink ghost stopped on his way past. "hello darling! Are you here formthe human fan club too? Oh we're going to have so much fun…" they said as they took her hand and led her inside. "My name is Hapstablook by the way, but you can call me happy!"
Usually such a social interaction would put great strain on Alphys but there was something about happy that put her at ease and she wanted to contribute. "So er um… H-Happy… You're a g-ghost monster, r-right? How come you haven't f-found a c-corporeal form y-yet?" The ghost monster sighed as they thought about it. "Honestly darling, I'm not likely to ever get the kind of form I ever want. I've got big dreams, and sadly, there just aren't any forms out there that can hold them all…" Happy said as they slowly drifted down to the floor.
Alphys, being a scientist, didn't like the idea that anything was impossible. Then, she had an idea. "h-hey, wait, I might h-have an idea. I haven't been in my lab m-much lately b-because… er um… I-it's k-kind of a m-mess… but! I think with a little w-work and t-time, I might be able to m-make you a form that would s-suit you!" The ghost looked at her, voicing their thoughts. "Why… why would you do something so nice for someone you barely know?" Alphys thought about it. She supposed it was to make up for the creatures down in the true lab, to do something positive for a change. But of course she didn't say that. "Oh w-well I can't j-just leave someone who loves h-humans as much as I d-do floating around unhappy now c-can I? Speaking of w-which, have you ever s-seen Mew Mew Kissy Cutie?" Happy immediately perked up. "I love that anime! Have you seen the one where…"
