He should have realized his mistake when he first offered Scully the candy bar. She'd been complaining about being light headed and so he gave her his Hershey bar. Scully had thanked him and quickly devoured it.
That was where his troubles began.
Scully demanded more chocolate, even going so far as to put on the Spice Girls CD that she mysteriously had with her until he pulled over and bought more chocolate. Once she'd sufficiently eaten enough chocolate to make her as hyper as a child in need of Ritalin, she proceeded to beg him for more chocolate. Scully pouted the entire way home when he said she was cutting her off.
When they got home, Scully bounded up to her apartment, nearly pulling him over in her haste to get in.
"What's the rush Scully?" He'd asked.
"Mulderrr." Scully had groaned. "Hello? Survivor is on!"
So he'd been dragged into her apartment by an extraordinarily hyperactive Scully where she bounded over to her TV and flipped it onto CBS. She ran for her stash of chocolate and they promptly wrestled for the Hersheys. Scully won and Mulder was forced to watch her jump off the walls as she watched Survivor.
Hours and hours later, Scully had finally decided that she'd had enough candy and so she slowly began to return to normal. Mulder smiled and pulled her close, allowing her to rest her head against his shoulder.
"Scully." He prompted.
"Yea?"
"Why the hell do you watch Survivor?"
"Don't know really. One night it just appealed to me."
"Ahh. I didn't realize you were so… enthusiastic after having chocolate."
"Chocolate if one of my great weaknesses."
"And your other weaknesses?" Mulder asked, knowing the answer but still wanting to 'hear' it from her.
Scully turned in his embrace and kissed him gently. "I think you can figure it out."
"Damn right I can." Mulder mumbled kissing her harder and let the world drift away.
Fox Mulder woke up in a sweat. His dream had been so vivid, so real. Him and Scully though? She was his partner, and daresay it, his friend. That sorta thing was a long way off.
Just then an arm smacked his chest and feminine fingers caressed the light hairs on his chest. He looked down and grinned. Okay, maybe not that far off. Scully snuggled into his side and he pulled her naked body close.
He'd just have to remember never to give her chocolate.
And what the hell was with that reality show?! Mulder grimaced. Oh well, he mused as he began to fall back asleep, nose buried in Scully's hair, he had the better reality after all.
End…
