The beginning of the end came, riding on a train. Chiho's brother, worried that there has been no contact for so long, appeared in the capital to find out what happened to his dear sister.
After finding her in the hospital, he took one look at the patient information, and promptly transferred her out to another hospital. While a Sekirei's education did not involve names of medication involved in treatment, Chiho's brother was able to tell that all the hospital staff was doing was doping her up on tranquilizers. He was mad enough to call MBI's hotline and threaten to expose them for not 'providing safe, basic healthcare' for it's citizens in MBI controlled Tokyo, one of the terms MBI had with the government concerning the takeover of the capital.
While a normal family can not afford expensive medical treatment, a complementary black MBI card with near unlimited credit opens up a lot of doors to treatment normally closed to them
Seeing that her ashikabi is now safe, Uzume headed back to Izumo Inn and confessed everything to Miya, expecting at the very least to be badly punished or even taken out of the game. Even if it was for her ashikabi's sake, her crimes ambushing other Sekirei and then leaving them to die was unforgivable. Also, she had a duty to Minato to tell him that his sister was also being held by Higa.
Tsukiumi's rage was explosive, and only Miya's demon head attack and Minato's need for information of his sister stopped Tsukiumi from attacking an unresisting Uzume. Uzume told them all she knew, Shiina told them more, once they managed to convince him that they meant to rescue Yukari. He loathed to seek help from someone he saw as a rival in love, but given the situation, he didn't have much of a choice.
A plan was formulated, Homura disguised himself as a butler and sneaked Yukari out under the guise of taking her for a shopping trip to 'ease her mind'. It was surprising easy, no one expected such a brazen attempt in the heart of their HQ, and Houmra was able to draw on his rich experience as a top host to belay any suspicion that came his way.
After overcoming the shock of being freed, Yukari's mood changed to anger. Gathering up Shiina and a volunteering Uzume, they went back and 'thanked' Higa for his hospitality. Higa discovered, too late, that having other people do his dirty work meant that his Sekirei is extremely short on battle experience, as an enraged, experienced trio of 'Number 10, Sekirei Hunter', 'Death' and the 'Demon Ashikabi' (Yukari was dealing with the humans in the way) fought their way to his chambers, leaving a trail of unconscious Sekirei and servants on the way.
A last minute effort to recover Chiho saw Kakizaki meeting with Chiho's brother, and said brother showing Kakikazi why a city boy should not try and fight a country boy. Incidentally, a sudden gust of strong wind, a mysterious fire, a flash flood, various heavy items dropping from the sky and plant growth dealt with the Sekirei that Kakizaki brought with him. It most likely had something to do with the fact that the hospital was located in the northern part of Tokyo.
If Uzume wanted revenge for Chiho treatment, once she heard of the recovery attempt, she was beyond enraged, wanting to just kill Higa in the slowest way possible and was on the way to doing that by slowing constricting him with her cloth when Yukari came up with something even worst. Making him sign over his asset to both Chiho and Yukari with a dual demon head attack from Uzume and Yukari they then proceeded to strip him of his clothes and deposited him in the gay bar district of Tokyo with a 'Please Use Me' sign stuck on him. He would never recover from this experience.
And thus ended the reign of 'Higa of the East'
