Meet the Masos
Chapter 1
Tohru was washing dishes when someone knocked on the door. She immediately rushed over and opened it. "Hello. Can I help you?"
A girl with long, light red hair stood there, picking at her nails. "Yes, is this the Sohma residence?" As she spoke, she lifted her head, revealing brilliant red eyes, highly reminiscent of Kyo's.
"Well, um, yes, but this isn't the main residence. I can have Yuki or Shigure show you over there."
Someone tugged on the redhead's skirt. "Krista, when can I see cousin Yuki?" a little girl whined. She had light gray hair and purple eyes.
"Not yet, Yolanda. Can you go check on Ian for me? He was moping in the car, last I checked." The little girl nodded and ran off. Krista smiled at Tohru. "We're related to the Sohmas. Distant cousins, perhaps, but still related."
The brunette stood there for a moment. "Oh, I'll get Yuki to show you over to the main house. Yuki!" she turned and called into the house.
A moment later, the teen appeared by her side. "Yes?"
"Can you, ah, take them to the Sohma house?"
"I'm Krista Maso. Yolanda's in the car waiting for you."
"No, I'm not. I'm right here! Yuki!" The little girl jumped up and down, plainly glad to see him.
"Yes, hello, Yolanda. I'll be happy to take you over there. I'm sure Akito will be happy to see…"
"Ashrine. Don't ask me what the idiot's mother was thinking."
"Ah, well. Let's go." The trio left for the car.
Tohru remained standing there, mystified. Kyo came up behind her. "The Masos are just like us, only reversed. Every guy in the Sohmas is a girl in the Masos, and vice versa. Krista's my opposite." Kyo glared out the door.
