A Moment Under the Stars
A bit of Aang/Azula. slight "The Beach" spoilers
Disclaimer: I don't own Avatar, although I know a guy on the staff.
Review, dammit!
Aang was bored out of his mind. The group was winding down for a night of rest, although he was still very energetic. He decided to take a walk around the island, hoping to calm himself enough to sleep before morning. He stumbled upon a large house, and he heard the loud noises that could only mean 1 thing…PARTY!
He saw Ty Lee talking to a bunch of guys, but paid it no mind. After all, it's the weekend, and no one's going to try to kill him at a party…right? Plus, he just looked like some kid…around a bunch of teens…
He saw a very beautiful girl, standing alone. She looked oddly familiar, although he ignored it. She'd never go to a party… he thought. He decided to be a good person and talk to her.
"Hi, I'm Kuzon," he said, borrowing his friend's name yet again.
"I'm Azula." She replied. Fuck…he thought to himself.
"So, where are your friends?"
"Not a clue. Aren't you a bit young to be at a party like this?"
"I got bored and snuck in. I've heard the stars look amazing here."
"They are."
"Care to take a look?" he said, offering his hand. They walked outside, and lay upon the earth, staring into the amazing night sky.
They sat there, not talking. Aang was worried he'd blow his cover if he talked too much. Both turned their heads, and got lost in each other's eyes. Azula noticed something a bit weird about the younger boy, and pointed it out.
"What's under the headband?"
"A scar. It's pretty embarrassing."
"Oh…ok."
The already awkward conversation had just run dry. Azula moved a bit closer, and gave him a light kiss on the lips. He returned it, and it turned into an elaborate game of tongue and cheek. Their hands playfully explored each other's bodies. As she broke off, and opened her eyes, she noticed his headband had fallen off. It looked like a tattoo she'd once before.
"Avatar?" she asked in shock, caught completely off guard.
"Yes?" he replied.
"Sorry about the lightning."
"Apology accepted."
"I won't say anything if you won't."
"Deal." He said, kissing her on the cheek before running like hell back to his campground.
The four teens sat around the dying fire. They'd had a very angsty moment sharing their stories. Afterwards, they crashed the party. They left Chan to mourn the loss of his house.
"So, Azula…how'd the party treat you?" Ty Lee asked the princess. They were alone.
"Good." The prodigy replied coldly.
"That's great." Ty Lee said, beaming.
"Hey, do you think that the Avatar could still be alive?" Azula asked, her voice lacking it's usual confidence.
"No, I'm pretty sure you killed him." Ty Lee answered, nodding.
"I…I think he could still be alive."
"Any reason for it?"
"I kissed him at the party." Azula confessed.
Ty Lee laughed.
"I'm serious. I saw the arrow and everything."
"Oh…so does he know how to kiss?"
FIN!
