Chapter 1: An Unlucky Morning
Summer awaits at the top of her special spot every morning. Where there stood a great oak tree on top of a cliffside. Awaiting for the sun to rise as to bring out a new refreshing day in her daily life. She knew this would be the last time she would be able to rest here again. But as always the young girl named Summer Rose is always found fast asleep. That is when her friend Taiyang Xiao Long wakes her up by shouting an enormous roar. You can say it was as loud as a dragon's in the old tales of origins. Summer was startled but she knew it happens all the time. There was also someone else hiding behind the shadow of the great oak tree. His name was Qrow who doesn't like the sun's rays early in the morning. Anxious enough as Qrow was he said, "Summer and Taiyang we are going to be late again and we are not in middle school you know. We might not make it this time so let's get going already!"
This is the beginning and there first day, they were always late going to school every morning. The school they were going to was called Beacon Academy. A place to train hunters and huntresses to slay the Grimm and hone there skills to become top in their classes. The group of friends made it to the airship that was about to leave without them but they managed to jump in on time. Taiyang was first to jump however he lands on top on someone who was listening to music by mistake. The rest of his friends were fine when they jumped on the airship with him. The person Taiyang landed on knocks him off from herself and grabs him holding him up in the air by his shirt. She then says,"What is your problem punk, you should watch it because next time I might not be so nice. You got it?" Taiyang responds, "Yes. . .?" Before he could finish she said "That is yes sir! You understand!?" In the end he says "I hear you loud and clear." She then lectures him that it should not happen again and releases Taiyang. He runs back to his friends in tears and during that time before they reached the academy they wondered who that girl was. Summer thought she was nice but Taiyang was happy to say he hopes he doesn't see her again. However Qrow is still laughing about Taiyang's incident and teases him until he got mad. The girl Taiyang jumped on was still listening to her music. All of a sudden Taiyang says, " I can take her on, and who does she think she is!?" to Qrow. But at that moment Taiyang made a big mistake because he can see Qrow turning pale and terrified of something. The girl Taiyang jumped on was standing right behind him. She introduces herself first, she says " My name is Raven Branwen, nice to meet you and good bye!" and after that she punches Taiyang as soon as the doors of the airship opened. They finally made it to Beacon Acadmey with Taiyang falling out of the airship head first to the ground.
