Take My Hand
Take my hand,
And walk me to the light.
Lead me from darkness,
Even though I was born a child of the night.
I have slept peacefully for so many years,
Not caring at all,
But suddenly I am left with an empty, sick feeling.
Now I have opened saddened eyes,
To find a world of anger staring back at me.
I do not want this; I hate this.
My fate is to follow in my father's footsteps,
My fate is to live the life of a dark king.
Take my hand,
And pull me from that path.
Help me so I can be forgiven.
