"I'm sorry, Harry, but you know we can't tell you anything; you're not a member of the Order."
"Oh, so you're just going to continue the policy of keeping me in the dark, is that it?! Dumbledore already tried that method once, and it got Sirius killed! And it makes so much sense to keep doing it because worked so well last time!! I—"
"Harold James Potter, stop that this instant! It is not Dumbledore's fault that Sirius died!" Lupin shouted. Harry just stared at him in shock, his mouth opened slightly. As Harry continued to look at him with a blank expression, Lupin asked, "What?"
Harry shook his head, and said, "My name's Harold?!" Lupin gaped at him.
"Of course it's Harold; I was there when your parents named you!" He paused. "How could you not know your full name?" Remus asked incredulously.
"I would think it was obvious; as I said earlier, no one tells me anything," Harry retorted.
"B-But your Aunt—"
"Remus, the last time I asked my Aunt a question that didn't involve chores, I was seven years old and she threw the frying pan at me. The hot, cast-iron frying pan, Hell, Remus, I don't know my grandparents' names, when they died, or even what they looked like!" Harry turned to the rest of the Order, "And you expect a boy who hasn't completed his schooling, or even been told his name, for Merlin's sake, to defeat Voldemort?! You need to figure out if keeping your little secrets is more important than ensuring the safety of your children and grandchildren." He glared at the entire room, then turned, and walked out.
"He's right, you know," said Moody, looking around at the many shocked Order members. "If you aren't even willing to ensure that he knows his own name, how will he know enough to defeat He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named?" Moody turned and stumped out of the room after Harry. The Order members looked at each other in stunned silence.
