Summary: When prayers are left unanswered. A collection of Tragic One-shots. --The decisions of others shaped her life, not the hands of God.--

Disclaimer: I own nothing.

The Hands Of God:

She had never been religious. She did not believe in destiny or fate. Whatever happened would happen because you made it so. She was sure everything happened for a reason but she did not believe it was all for some ulterior motive of God. She hadn't been sure she even believed in God.

She had been to church twice in her life, once with a grandma and once with a friend. She did not bow her head and murmur grace every night. She was just not that girl. She wasn't the type of girl to put all her faith in some higher being. She was in control of her life and nothing would change that. She never prayed. She never asked for anything.

That day she watched him walk into the hedge, her boyfriend and her first love. She watched him walk away. She had faith in him; she would not pray for his safety. She regrets it now.

The moment she heard the first scream she fell to her knees. She bowed her head, and for the first time ever she prayed to a God she was not sure was there. All she wanted was for God to bring him back, to give him a chance. It was the only thing she had ever asked for. Through the tears, she begged and she pleaded. Nothing changed.

Her prayers went unanswered.

Now she does not believe in God. He would not have stolen such a young and beautiful life. He could never be that cruel. Everyone had control over their decisions, but no one had full control over their lives. She learned that. The decisions of others shaped her life, not the hands of God. There was no God. He wouldn't have left her prayers unanswered. She put her faith in that, and it became her simple truth.

It's been a while. If you liked this please review. I will update this as often as I can. Remember that, unless I say so, none of the stories are conncted. They are just a bunch of random short one-shots.

If you have any ideas or suggestions go ahead and tell me and I will write them up for y'all. Any couples or charecter-centic ones you want?

BTW: This was a Cedric-Cho piece...

Have a great day and enjoy.

P.S. I do not mean to offend anyone in their religious beliefs. I am truely sorry if I do so.
