So, this is my entry for DemiStoodStrong's Contest. As you know, I was given the song, Something about the Sunshine By Anna Margaret and Sterling Knight. Haha, nice. Sterling Knight is in my story, Only as Chad, not Sterling. Well I hope you like my Song/one shot-fic.
Chad's POV
-Wake up to the blue sky, grab your shades and lets go for a ride-
I woke up and looked at the clock. I had exactly one hour to get ready before I pick up Sonny for our date. I quickly took a short shower and got on a pair of light blue jeans with a dark blue hoodie. I got my black shades on and walked out the door with ten minutes to spare. I hopped in my blue corvette and drove down to Sonny's. Right when I got there, she pranced to my car, wearing an adorable pink and orange sundress.
"You ready to hit the road?" I asked.
"Lets go!" She chirped, as she jumped into the passenger side.
"Hey, are we going out for breakfast cause I'm super hungry." She said with an adorable grin on her face.
"You'll see." I replied.
We drove along the road, until we finally got to Malibu beach.
-Breakfast by the ocean, we'll do lunch at Sunset and Vine-
We walked down to the beach, hand in hand and ate our picnic breakfast. Luckily, it was 9:00 in the morning so nobody was at the beach. When we finished, I decided to show Sonny around L.A, since she's only been to Condor Studio's and her Apartment.
-Every days a dream in California. Every night the stars come out to play. Wish that I could always, feel this way-
We drove down to downtown Hollywood so she could get the full experience of the amazing city. We walked around Hollywood and stopped at some of the smaller beaches too.
-In Hollywood were rockin, in Malibu we hang out and chill-
Sonny's POV
Hollywood is so amazing! Especially cause I'm here with Chad. He makes things extra special. We went to lots of tourist attractions, and most of all did A LOT of shopping!
-It's all about the shopping, from Melrose to Beverly Hills-
I bought a dress that Chad picked out. It was so gorgeous! It was navy blue with silver sparkles on it. When it was about 6:00 PM, we got some chili dogs (yeah, I know. So Romantic, right?) and sat on a park bench as the sun went down. I snuggled up with Chad as we ate.
-Every where's a scene, and now were in it, I don't wanna paint this town alone. When I see your smile I always feel at home-
"Today was great, Chad." I breathed.
"Well, good. I'm glad you had fun." He replied, smiling.
"I really did. It feels like whatever I do in life, is better when I'm with you, Chad." I smiled, as I snuggled closer to him.
"That probably was the most sweetest thing that anyone has ever said to me." He responded happily.
"Well, it's also the truth." I said.
"You know, there was something about the sunshine today. It was bright, just like you." He whispered in my ear, causing shivers to run down my spine.
"That was sweet Chad."
"Anything for M'lady." He chuckled.
He leaned in and pretty soon our lips were connected. It felt so right, like it was meant to be. When he pulled away I smiled.
"I love you Chad." I said in the warm, blissful night.
"Love you too Sonshine."
He was right. There was something about the sunshine that day. It had the power to bring me and Chad closer than we've ever been. A beautiful, magical sunshine, wavering in the California sky.
-There's something about the sunshine baby, I'm seeing you in a whole new light. Out of this world for the first time baby. Ohhh, its so right-
