Happy Birthday to me! I turned 16 today! This is my first Firm production so I hope you like it!
Disclaimer I do not own...whatever.
Corruption
This is a Firm production…
Blunt stared bluntly at the computer screen as the phone box blinked red. He pushed the button labeled lobby and a voice sounded. "Alex Rider is here to see you sir."
"Send him." Answered Blunt. His eyes flickered to the message that he had received just half an hour ago. RV277T3ZVBSIF18D5…. It was the access code that had been changed without authorization. Below that message read,
"Dear Mr. Blunt,
The codes to every file the MI6 own as well as the codes to many other British alliances are in our position. They have been changed and put under a lock system. We will however open that lock and distribute them to every terrorist connection we know if you do not follow our demand. Kill Alex Rider. You have one hour. From yours truly,
SCORPIA.
Blunt had thought about the letter for half an hour now, knowing that it would take at least two hours to track the email, and another two to get the codes back. Four hours he didn't have. He knew it wasn't a bluff. He had tried to open the code himself had been blocked.
There was a knock at the door. The head of the MI6 checked to make sure the silencer was correctly attached before saying "Enter."
A teenager walked in. Blunt shut down his senses. He didn't see the boy sit down in front of him. He didn't see the young spy's eyes shinning with hatred at what he was forced to do for a country he had no loyalty too. He didn't see his secret weapon's eyes widen in shock as he pulled the gun out from under the desk. He didn't see the kid he had used so often, still using him for the sake of the country, die.
Slowly Blunt left the trance-like state he had entered only to find he wasn't alone. Mrs. Jones stood near by inspecting the body.
"That was a clean shot. I don't think anyone else heard."
Blunt nodded and placed the gun next to the computer, emotionless as always. It was a loss, but Alex had done the jobs he had meant to do. "I see you got the letter."
Mrs. Jones walked around the desk and quickly read Scorpia's letter. "It would seem that your letter is slightly more different than mine."
Blunt's facial expression didn't change. It still remained frozen as Mrs. Jones took a gun from her purse and held it to his head.
"Sixteen million pounds to me." Then she pulled the trigger. After she wiped the blood from her clothes, she stuck her free hand into her purse and took out a peppermint.
Yeah, I killed him. But I took down Blunt too...I don't even really like it when main character's die, but I figured what the hell since this is a one shot. Review!
