I promised Underdog Hero some Minis. I'll post this because I think it's cute, but consider it an appetizer.
...For whenever I clear up my backlog enough to edit something longer. Does anybody else even like these kids?
"Guess I'm still two inches shorter..."
"Than me?"
"No, than Ali. Or better yet, maybe Kamui, Aichi..."
Lee let his list of names end with that, though Chris somehow suspected "Misaki" would have been next, had he continued.
After a certain incident at the Asia Circuit had passed, the three members of Team S.I.T. Genius had managed to reconcile become friends – which meant Ali and Chris were victims of Lee's newfound sarcasm more often lately.
"Oh. Does that bother you, Lee?"
Chris was shorter than Ali, and Ali was barely taller than Kamui now. But nobody was shorter than Lee, except for maybe Aichi's sister, and they hadn't exactly found the time to gauge her height in comparison to Lee's yet.
Nobody in their age group, at least. Not anyone that Chris knew of.
"...Honestly? Not really."
It was genetics! It wasn't like he could help being short or anything!
...Lee made a mental note to pick up another gallon of milk for the weekend anyway.
