Rating: K

Summary: Arthur steals Merlin's fruit Pastilles and he is not OK with it.

Merlin burst into the common room with a dark aura seeping from is entire being. Morgana looked up from her book, startled. Noticing the look on his face she forgot about her book and went to stand just as Arthur burst into the room mid-sentence.

"-sorry. I'm sorry! How many times do I need to say it?" He followed Merlin to where he'd say down on their usual 2-seater couch and made to sit next to him just as Merlin twisted in his space and spread his legs along the rest of the sofa, effectively preventing Arthur from sitting down. He was always secretly afraid of breaking Merlin; he was just so thin.

Merlin was silent. Arms crossed over his chest, his expression stormy.

"What's going on?" Morgana sounded worried. "What's happened? Arthur? What'd you do this time?"

"'This time'?!" Arthur turned, glaring daggers at Morgana as she stood to go and comfort her friend.

"What's up Hun? Did he wear his socks to bed again?" The comment made Merlin's face lighten as he tried to suppress a giggle. Arthur's face flushed.

"Merlin let me sit down. I'm sorry, okay?" Silence was the stern reply. "You're blowing this way out of proportion. I'll buy you some more."

"Wait. What is this about, anyway?" said Morgana.

"No, I'm not, Arthur. I'm being perfectly reasonable. You should've asked! You're such and inconsiderate bastard!"

Arthur's face reddened further. Anger rather than embarrassment bubbling under his face this time.

"Woah. Hey, calm down you two. Now, explain." Morgana looked between the two boys.

"I was hungry. I asked Merlin if I he had something to eat. He said, 'yeah sure, food in my bag, help yourself.' So I did."

"I didn't say you could eat my fruit pastilles! You know how much I love those! I meant you could have my lunch!" Merlin almost shouted. Arthur, having the grave to look sheepish, nudged Merlin's legs. Merlin returned to a proper sitting position reluctantly, allowing Arthur to sit beside him.

"Merlin, I'm sorry. I promise I'll but you some more as soon as I get the chance." He pulled Merlin nearer and was met with little resistance. Merlin found it too difficult to stay mad at Arthur for long and easily settled into the crook of Arthur's arm. The blonde kissed the raven crop of hair on his head and nuzzled it until all he could smell was Merlin.

"You ate the last one."

"I know."

"It was my favourite."

"I'm sorry."

Merlin peered up from resting his head in Arthur's shoulder and tilted his head for a kiss. Arthur responded immediately, cupping the back of Merlin's head to deepen the kiss.

Morgana, having been forgotten by the two love-birds, huffed and turned on her heel to head back to her seat. She couldn't believe the idiots actually had a row over some sweet.
