It was a nice weather at my town. I was just laying down on the bench on the rooftop, staring at the floating clouds. I do this occasionally to make me calm and relieved from my continuous classes. As a high school student, I don't know how I am going to make it without this habit of mine. My school is a pretty big in size compared to any schools in town, although the education is about the same as the others. As for me, I am not special, just an ordinary student.

The wind blew lightly towards my left side, and at the same time the sunshine is blocked by a large white cloud. The surrounding is very calming and made me sleepy. I thought to myself that it wouldn't kill me to sleep for a while. As I am about to close my eyes, a figure of a woman appeared from above my field of vision. I was surprised and almost fell down. I slowly sat on the bench and looked at her. She was Jannina, my friend from the same class. Though I wouldn't say that she is my friend, because we don't speak to each other very often, until now. She was wearing her regular high school uniform like the other female students. She stood beside me, putting her hands on her hips. I wanted to go back to sleep but I couldn't just ignore her. Struggling with sleepiness, I asked her with a little yawn,

"*yawn*… Why are you here?"

She smiled and replied to me: "Nothing, just wondering who is sleeping at my spot."

I asked her:" Your spot?"

"Yes, why?" She asked

"…Nothing" I replied.

Having heard her said that the bench was her spot, I figured that she had been going to the roof for a long time. It surprised me that I hadn't seen her on the roof before. I managed to stand up and gave her the bench, because I was not thinking of sleeping on the bench with her there. She immediately sat down on the bench and said,

" …there is an available seat here."

I heard her and smiled a little, having the same feeling of accompanying a child. I sat beside her and we started talking to each other. We asked about hobbies, siblings, family, address, any type of questions that came up to our mind. I didn't know why but I felt happy and energized again just by talking to her. After a while, we heard the ring of the school bell. We were really into talking that we missed our lunch break. On that day, we didn't have our lunch but luckily we weren't sick.

On the next day, I came back to the roof and saw her sitting on the usual bench staring at the clouds and trees. I didn't want to bother her with that innocent look on her eyes but it was too late, she saw me. I came to her and gave her something.

"What is this?" she asked

"Lunch, it's for you. Yesterday we didn't have any lunch cause we were talking too long, so I bought lunch for us so that we can talk as long as we want and we still won't miss our lunch time…"

After hearing that, she laughed and agreed to this idea. That made me a little relieved, because I was afraid that she might think that it's a bad idea. She thanked me for the food and said that one day she would buy one for me. Then we continued our last conversation while eating our lunch together. We made jokes to each other and laughed continuously. We were enjoying our time together until the bell rang once more. Usually the sound was normal to me but now, I was a little disappointed for hearing it, because that meant I need to stop spending time with Jannina. Even though it was just for a while, I still felt a little sad. By looking at her face when the bell rang, I thought that she might also feel the same way. We cleaned up our spot and headed back to class.
