A/N: Well, this is a very interesting little piece of nothing. I just wrote it because... Well, I'm not sure. Review anyways, though. No warnings, neither.

There was no sun that day. This place was always a very sunny place. Oh well, it didn't matter. Itachi enjoyed the shade of the clouds blacking out every little speck of that blue above their heads. It was peaceful, being able to sit under that gray sky, not having to care about much except where your partner was and what he was doing. It was so easy, especially since all Kisame happened to be doing was swimming in the lake they had camped next to. Itachi had his bare feet dipped into the cool water. His cloak and shoes were over by the fire, along with all of Kisame's clothes. He'd gone in in just boxers. The legs of Itachi's pants were rolled up, so as to not get them wet.
Itachi's attention was taken from the sky as he watched a familiar head poke out of the water to look at him, before the chest came up as well. He tossed a big fish onto the grass. Itachi presumed this was lunch. The muscular form of the shark man appeared fully out of the water as he hopped up next to Itachi with razor-toothed grin.
They weren't ones for exchanging many words... Kisame tended to do most of the talking. Itachi liked it that way.
"You hungry?" his voice was a low growl, like it always was. It was returned with a semi-nod. The shark man proceded to dragging the fish to the fire, preparing it to be cooked. Itachi's attention stuck closely to Kisame out of slight boredom. Kisame was a professional at this.
After preparing it, he cut the fish up into big pieces, putting the pieces on sticks like you would when cooking a marshmallow over an open campfire after a long day of vacationing. He stuck the sticks in the ground, scratching his head. A sigh parted the small Uchiha's lips as he looked up at the sky.
It was days like this Itachi lived for. Relaxation was hard to come by lately, and he was sure Kisame was enjoying it as much as he was. He treasured being able to think clearly about something other than his day-to-day troubles, working in Akatsuki.
There may have not been sun that day, but Itachi felt the sensation of being filled to the brim with a bright feeling.
