Saruhiko got used to it.

Every morning as soon as he wakes up, Reisi would kiss his forehead and greet him a good morning. He doesn't know how, but Reisi always wakes up before he does, always ready to greet him that way. He doesn't know how, since Reisi always makes sure that Saruhiko is asleep before he himself goes to sleep.

Saruhiko always makes it clear that he doesn't need to be spoiled, but Reisi always answers that he wants to spoil Saruhiko. It's still unnecessary, in Saruhiko's opinion, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't feel flattered by the attention and care he receives.

They would then go to the bathroom and brush their teeth. There was a time when Reisi wanted to be the one to brush Saruhiko's teeth, but the latter didn't let him because it was… embarrassing.

And then they would eat together, food already cooked by Reisi, that's why Saruhiko wonders everyday just what time Reisi wakes up. Nevertheless, the food that Reisi cooks for the two of them always tastes good, almost perfect.

Saruhiko would never admit it, but he's genuinely happy that he has someone who cooks for him and someone he can eat meals with.

There was also a time when Reisi wanted to be the one to feed Saruhiko, and Saruhiko let him, just one time. He blushed so much though and it was really embarrassing, so he would never ever agree to that again. It was just really embarrassing…

And then after that, the two of them would brush their teeth again. Then Reisi would leave him in the bathroom and give him some privacy. He has to take a bath after all, and it always seems that Reisi already took his. He was just always ready for anything, as if he's always ready to give anything Saruhiko needs or wants.

The moment Saruhiko is out of the bathroom, he would find Reisi already done getting ready and just waiting for him on a couch or a chair. Saruhiko's clothes would be prepared as well and they would go to work together.

It was always like that, but Saruhiko was happy with it. He was contented. He felt loved by a person he loves. There was nothing he could have asked for. He wanted that to be just like that forever.

But of course that wasn't possible.

He's Fushimi Saruhiko, so he just can't have nice things.

It's been two years since that cycle was disrupted, but he can't bring himself to forget. He can't bring himself to move on. He just can't. It wasn't easy. It wasn't easy to forget the person that gave you so much to remember. It wasn't easy to forget the person you loved so much.

Reisi left him in the end. But he doesn't blame Reisi. It's not Reisi's fault. It was a natural occurrence. It's not like it was Reisi's choice to leave him anyway. It was nature, it was death that took Reisi away from him.

It's been two years, yes. His life has been very different then. It was better with Reisi in it. He always thinks of the times when they were together, happy and contented, as if there are no problems in the world. But he knows that no matter how much he thinks of the past, there is no way of bringing it back.

It's been two years, yes. But the sadness and grief is still fresh in his being. He just cannot bring himself to smile the way he did when they were together. He feels like he has lost everything he has. After all, Reisi was all he had, and he was taken from him too.

It's been two years, yes. But he can still remember how Reisi would be there for him whenever he's sad. He can still remember how Reisi's strong arms would embrace him and tell him that everything would be alright. But now he has no one but himself. He would just cry until he falls asleep.

It's been two years, yes. But he still doesn't know what to do.
