A certain titan shifter sits down on a bed, a letter in hand. He begins reading the words.
Dear Eren,
Thank you for being together with me. I know you always pushed me away when I smothered you but you always made sure that you didn't push me too far. Sometimes, when you did push me too far you always came back and pulled me to your side.
Thank you for teaching me how to live. If you weren't there that night, I wouldn't have become the person I am. If you didn't hold out your hand and let me walk with you on your path, I would never have learned how live.
Thank you for wrapping this muffler around me. I was cold, very cold. I didn't have anywhere to go, I was alone but then you came and gave me your warmth. You said you would wrap this muffler again and again but since you're reading this, that's not possible anymore.
I always wanted to be beside you and even though I'm not there physically, I always am. I love you, I always have and I always will. If there's a heaven, we'll go there hand-in-hand. If we're given another life, let's find each other okay? You're probably crying your eyes out right now. Stop. Try to move on. We'll see each other, don't worry.

After reading the letter, tears started flowing out of Eren's eyes. Four words slid their way out of his mouth, words quiet enough that only he could hear.
"I love you Mikasa" Eren sat there, crying for a while.
"Eren, why are you crying?" Mikasa suddenly made her way into the room. Her eyes suddenly widened in shock. "Where did you get that!?"
Eren smiled, stood up and walked towards her. The moment she was close enough he pulled her in for a kiss. When they broke off, Eren spoke.
"I love you Mikasa."
"I love you too."
I do NOT like ending something on a sad note! I think that Eren and Mikasa both deserve happy endings with each other.
