They both collapse onto the bed with a thud, fully exhausted and still visibly shaken from the night's events. Aaron curls himself against Jackson's side and sighs, neither of the two expect to be sleeping tonight, Aaron is too wracked with guilt and Jackson isn't about to cop-out on his boyfriend and fall asleep – not any time soon anyway.
"She will be alright, wont she?" Aaron asks in one fast, shallow breath. Jackson can detect the worry in the younger man's voice and wraps a comforting arm around him.
"She'll be fine; she's with Adam now." Jackson reassures, his hand coming to stroke the back of Aaron's neck.
"Yeah, but if she's not-"
"She will be."
"But if-"
Aaron is silenced with a kiss. It's not strong or dominant or even remotely suggestive; just short, sweet and comforting. Jackson feels Aaron relax against him and pulls away, his lips suddenly growing cold. "She will be." He says finally, pulling Aaron tighter against his side and for a second he finds himself wondering how the two of them fit on such a small bed.
Aaron breaks him from his thoughts when he feels a warm hand undoing the buttons of his shirt and shit, Jackson thinks; he hadn't realised he was on a promise but it's when his shirt is fully open, bare chest exposed that he realises he isn't – this is just what Aaron does; it's a comfort thing and when Jackson looks down the younger man is yawning, a hand resting against Jackson's exposed flesh as his eyes fall shut.
"Just- hmm…" he yawns again. "Just like to know…know that you're here, that you won't-" he stops again, sighing in content, sleep almost claiming his exhaust-ridden body before he continues. "Won't leave. Like to feel you…here." And that's it; he's asleep, lost to all consciousness before Jackson even has the chance to let him know he has no intention of leaving, not ever. Instead Jackson just plants a kiss to the top of Aaron's head and whispers a quiet goodnight as he settles himself down against the pillow, joining his boyfriend and finally succumbing to sleep. – No, Jackson certainly has no intentions of leaving; not without Aaron anyway.
