Asking For Love

WARNING: This contains HET, Kiba/Hinata.
Kiba is energetic. He is energetic and happy, loyal, and loving. He loves Akamaru, Shino, Hinata, Kurenai-sensei, his family, and Victory. He doesn't ask for much, only to be treated fairly and with respect.
He also asks for Hinata to love him, in his own way.
Hinata is shy. She is shy and sad, alone, and caring. She cares about Akamaru, Shino, Kiba, Kurenai-sensei, Naruto, Neji, and the rest of her family, even though they don't care about her. She cares about anyone, really, because she's so caring and open-minded, and alone. She doesn't ask for much, in fact, she's too scared and shy to ask for much. She asks for strength and courage, though.
She also asks for Kiba to love her, in her own way.
Kiba asks her to love him by being gentle with her, whereas he's rowdy and rough with others. He plays nice with her, and tries to make her happy and content as possible.
Hinata asks for him to love her by blushing when he is so nice to her, and giggling cutely and politely when he makes one of his corny jokes. She knows that no one else would do that for him, and wants to show her love for him without getting hurt.
Akamaru knows that Hinata likes Kiba, and of course he knows that Kiba likes Hinata, the love between the two is obvious to everyone around them, just not them. Akamaru doesn't like when Kiba doesn't say what's on his mind, and it bothers him because Kiba is such a free soul and can't keep secrets very well without it eating him up inside. Akamaru doesn't like when Hinata is too shy to tell Kiba how she feels, because she isn't used to being loved and doesn't understand that Kiba loves her. Neither will be happy if one doesn't confess soon.
Akamaru wants to help them because he loves them both. He wants them to be happy together and for the tension in the air to go away during training. He will do whatever it takes to make things right, and so he comes up with a plan.
It is early this Spring morning, and there is a warm breeze blowing through Hinata's short raven locks. Kiba is playing with Akamaru and Akamaru is slowly leading Kiba to Hinata's area, where the plan will begin to unfold.
Akamaru is a very smart dog. Very smart and very cute.
Kiba stops when he sees Hinata, sakura petals wisping around her small frame and her white eyes gleaming with happiness, she is just so beautiful. She blushes brightly when she notices Kiba staring and quickly looks away.
The sakura petals are putting Kiba in a trance-like state, and he is walking slowly but surely towards his crush. His almond-shaped eyes clearly radiate love and he reaches Hinata and kisses her.
This is not a rushed, rowdy kiss, but a gentle, sweet kiss. He kisses her like he thinks she would want, all he ever does is for her enjoyment lately.
Hinata's eyes are shut tight, she doesn't want to wake up, she doesn't want this to be a dream. She wants it to be real and she wants it to be Kiba. She gets what she wants and pulls away, a shy smile on her petal-soft lips.
No words are said-- none need to be. They both know what the other is thinking, and they both like it.
Akamaru barks happily. There is no more tension in the air and Kiba and Hinata are the happiest they've ever been. Akamaru was a good boy, and Kiba surely will give him a special treat after training tonight.
That's what you get when you ask for love.
