Alexander wonders if he and Hephaistion are normal.
Set a month after the scene with Aristotle.
They will be around the age of fourteen?
It's only short, but enjoy. :)
Their Normal
"Do you think we're normal?"
Alexander propped himself up on his elbows and looked at his best friend, who'd recently become his lover.
Hephaistion raised an eyebrow "What do you mean?"
Alexander sighed and started to pick at the grass he was lying on. "My father thinks that I should talk to more girls and that the amount of time we spend together isn't normal" Alexander paused for a moment and looked back at the person he trusted most in the world "You heard what Aristotle said; he said that men shouldn't lie together in lust. But we do Hephaistion and Cassander said…"
Hephaistion interrupted him "Cassander is jealous, you also heard Aristotle say that. Your father just wants you to be a good King and as for Aristotle, well… he's old"
"I suppose that you're right"
Hephaistion shuffled closer to the slightly younger boy and put a hand on his shoulder "Does it really bother you?"
Alexander thought about it for a moment and sat up "I love you, but I worry that I'm not normal."
Hephaistion smiled slightly and spoke in a softer voice that usual "Alexander that's because you aren't normal. You're a prince, the future King. The truth is you're never going to be normal and maybe our feelings are… unusual, but that doesn't mean that they're wrong"
A big smile appeared on Alexander's lips "You're right" He leaned over and kissed Hephaistion softly on the lips "I will never be without you Hephaistion and I don't care what my father says, I will never marry. I don't need a Queen to rule, I just need you"
Hephaistion replied "And I will always be with you Alexander."
He leaned forward, capturing the prince's lips, pushing him down on the grass and lying on top of him. He took the opportunity to slide a hand down Alexander's torso, continuing until he reached the part that Alexander most wanted to be touched.
He smiled to himself when he he heard the boy mutter "I doubt being normal, feels this good!"
