I do not own anything to do with beyblade except for this fic.
Sequel to Longing
Rei's point of view-------------------------------------------------
Kai and I had been together for a month now and surprisingly, everyone had been okay with it, all except for Mariah. She still had feelings for me and thought that I did too. However, I told her that I only thought of her as a good friend and sister. She had been heartbroken but soon recovered when Lee had admitted to her that he had always loved her. I was quite surprised I never thought that Lee and Mariah would become a couple. But I didn't think that Max and Tyson would either. I still remembered the time when Kai told me that he loved me, I was so happy that I didn't have to hide my feelings from him anymore.
Kai's point of view-------------------------------------------------
It seemed like love was in the air, first Lee and Mariah and than Tyson and Max, who knew. It was nice seeing the two of them together and happy. I guess because of my love for Rei, I had changed for the better and was no longer the cold-hearted person. I had grown to trust my teammates and they in return trusted me. It came as an extreme shock to the bladebreakers when they found out that I had left them for the Demolition Boys. I don't know why I did; I saw the hurt on Rei's face but could never bring myself to reach out. My grandfather had trained me to show no emotions and that's what I did. When I finally realized that he was using me for world domination I realized what I had done to my friends. I slowly learnt how to become a friend and it was hard at first, Tyson reached out to me when I had been frozen in the ice. At that moment my life flashed in front of my eyes, I saw everything I could gain from being Tyson's, Max's, and Rei's friend.
Rei's point of view-------------------------------------------------
I had realized that Kai had changed and for the better. We had become so close and he seemed happier now. The Bladebreakers no longer seemed like a team made up of five strangers (including Kenny), we had become good friends, although, it took Kai a while to realize that we would always be there for him. I knew that everything was going to be okay for all of us. We each had found a person who we loved; I couldn't for anything more than being with Kai. I didn't know when I had first started to think of him in that way, perhaps when he abandoned us for the Demolition Boys. The hurt and anger on my face showed clearly. I didn't know what made him do that and I had never asked when he came back. When he told everyone about his grandfather, I realized that Kai's life had never been filled with happiness; he was made to please his grandfather. It hurt me, more than ever I had wanted to comfort him but I was too scared and it was too soon to tell him how I felt.
Kai's point of view---------------------------------------------------
Rei came and sat down beside me and said "I will love you forever" and I knew that I would too. So I told him the same. Everything was perfect, we had each other and I couldn't have asked for anything else.
Rei's point of view--------------------------------------------------
I told Kai that I loved him and he told me the same. I was the luckiest person in the world to have him; he was my captain, my teammate, and lover. Life was now perfect, I reflected on the past and now it seemed that everything we had been through was worth it. Our love would last a lifetime and beyond.
