Prompt #2 (Location) Twilight Drive-In
"Jason we need to talk." Polly sighed as she leaned her head aginst his right shoulder."
He looked down into her up turn eyes. "What's wrong Pol?" He husked out as he saw the seriousness in her eyes.
Polly sighed deeply. "You need to get Cheryl to leave Betty alone."
"I'm trying." Jason sighed. "Cheryl fully knows that you and I are together now. She suppots us. But she feels that if she lays off Betty then it will bring all eyes on to us."
Polly pulled away and folded her arms across her chest. She leaned against the passanger door as she looked into his eyes. "It's not fair." She stormed out. "It's not fair that you and I have to hide the fact that we are in love with each other all because you are a Blossom and I'm a Cooper."
"It's not fair that your sister has to take the blunt of Cheryl's anger." Jason sighed as he wrapped his hands around the steeling wheel.
"It's more than the Blossom-Cooper family fued with Cheryl." Polly spat out. "I mean she holds that feud more so than you do Jay …. but there is something about Betty that Cheryl is holding onto so tightly that it is more than the family feud fuelling Cherly's hatred for Betty!" Deep worry was in her eyes. "I need to protect Betty at all cost."
Jason sadly looked into her eyes. "I know you do Pol." He whispered. His chest hurt. His eyes lowered unto his hands.
"I'm not breaking up with you Jay." Polly husked as she moved closer to her boyfriend. Her hands rose to place her palms against his cheeks; she gently turned his head to meet hers. "I love you Jay." She leaned forward to place her lips against his. She felt his tears against her cheek as he gently deepened the kiss. Pulling away as air became a issue; "I just I wish I knew why Cheryl hates Betty so much."
"I promise that I'll find out Pol. I'll protect Betty with my dying breath." Jason rested his head against her's. "I love you Polly. If it comes to chosing from my own twin sister and Betty then I will chose Betty every time." His eyes met hers. "I promise you." He whispered.
Polly felt dread in her heart at his words.
