I dreamed of what we once had
I dreamed of what our life could have been
Had we not been bound by the Zodiac curse
The curse kept me from you
But in truth I used the curse as an excuse
An excuse to hurt you
An excuse to leave you
An excuse to pretend what we had never existed
Although I do not show it
I still care for you
Though I know if I told you
You would not believe me
I know I cannot ask for forgiveness
Not after I betrayed you with your mother
But I can still hope
One day you will be free of the curse
By then I hope you have learned to accept yourself
And become the woman I always knew you could be
Until that day I will keep to the shadows
Secretly watching you
Hoping for the day you are free
And that you can possibly forgive me
