This is No Joke
by Pala-and-Papipa
"I... love... you."
Gwen's eyes widened when she heard those words. She couldn't believe he was saying this. Even though he had to repeat it twenty times, it was still unbelievable. He was the last person she'd expect to hear that from. Still, she was skeptical. Seriously, he did not seem like the type who would say "Omigosh, Gwen, I just realized I love you."
He stood there, waiting for her response. Gwen raised an eyebrow. "Seriously? Dude, what are you on?"
He scoffed. "I'm not on anything!!!! And this is no joke!!!"
Gwen rolled her eyes. "Right... just like when you 'meant' it when you told Lindsay she was smart."
"I did not – oh wait. I did. But I do mean what I said!!!"
"About love or Lindsay?"
"Love."
Gwen sighed. "Please, I know you're kidding."
Going against Gwen's statement, his eyes were filled with compassion, caring, and a whole bunch of other kind things.
Then, he did something he had been waiting to do ever since the beginning of TDA.
He kissed her. Very very very very VERY very very very very very very very very very very passionately. Like, VERY VERY VERY passionately. You get where I'm going with this.
When they pulled apart, Gwen's eyes widened a second time. "Woah. You really meant it."
He smiled. "Sure did."
Gwen quickly kissed him. "I love you too, Duncan."
The End.
I has a note. Duncan never called Lindsay smart (I think) and I just made it up.
Did you like my verys?
