A/N: This will be a oneshot/drabble and it is written for the January Event on the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry forum! Oh and just so you know I'm not even attempting to do Viktor's accent in this story so just imagine that he is talking with his accent while you read... LOL... Enjoy!
Disclaimer: I don't own HP!
Level 3 Pairing: Hermione/Viktor Krum

Hermione looked out over Black Lake with tears in her eyes. Tomorrow Viktor would leave and she wasn't sure when she would see him again or even if she would see him. Ever since the Yule ball they had gotten even closer than they had been the night of the ball. She had never thought herself pretty but he made her feel pretty. He made her feel cherished and above all loved and she didn't want to lose that.
She wasn't surprised at all when Viktor sat beside her and pulled her into his side. She turned to look at him and gave him a sad smile. "I don't know what I'm going to do when you leave tomorrow, Viktor. These last few months have made me feel more alive than I ever felt before."
Viktor kissed Hermione on the head as he lifted her up and then sat her down on his lap, where he proceeded to wrap his arms around her so that he could hold her tight. "Tomorrow is not the end of us, Hermione. I may be leaving here but that doesn't mean I will be leaving you. As you said these last few months have made me feel more alive than I ever felt before and that includes being on a Quidditch pitch. So I will be at your platform 9 & ¾ to see you when the train arrives. I plan on asking your parents permission to court you because I know that you were made for me. So remember that this is not the end for us but the beginning."
Hermione smiled shyly and blushed as she leaned her head back on Viktor's shoulder. "I really don't want tomorrow to come. I'm going to miss you even if it's only for a day or two. I have gotten so use to you being here that I'm afraid to see how it's going to be when you leave."
Viktor gently turned Hermione's head towards him and then kissed her deeply. "I am going to miss you too, love. The only thing that will get me through it is the fact that I'll keep reminding myself I will see you in three days time. I know that it hasn't been that long but, Hermione, you have to know that I am falling for you."
Hermione nodded and wrapped her arms around Viktor's neck as she whispered "Just like I am falling for you, Viktor. As you said this is a beginning not an end. We'll get through this and come out stronger from it. I guess I should get back inside before curfew hits. Will you eat breakfast with me in the morning so that I get as much time as I can with you before you leave?"
Viktor smiled as he nodded and stood up with Hermione still in his arms. He set her gently on her feet then kissed her tenderly. "Nothing would keep me from eating breakfast with you, love. I will walk you to the doors of the castle."
Hermione leaned into Viktor's side when he wrapped an arm around her waist. She allowed him to guide her to the front doors of the castle and then turned in his arm. With a small smile she pulled his head down and kissed him passionately. "I will see you in the morning, Viktor. Goodnight."
Viktor grinned. "Goodnight, my love." He watched her as she made her way into the school and waved when she looked back at him. He really was falling for her and he was dreading leaving Hogwarts tomorrow since it will mean that he won't be seeing Hermione for three days. He shook his head to clear it and walked back to the boat and to his room. He fell asleep quickly and dreamed about Hermione all night long.
