Hey FIRST STORY IN THE CATEGORY WOOO WOOO! Anyway so I had this in my head for a bit and I just wanted to write this of what should have happened in episode 12 of The Asterisk War lol. Ever since I watched the episode this idea wouldn't leave my head so I wrote it out. Everything plays out somewhat normally after the Festa like in the episode with of course one small change and of course I'm just recalling the dilouge from memory somewhat so it's not all exactly like in the episode so anyway I hope you like this one shot and maybe in the future I'll write an actual story for this fandom.
*Warning: SPOILERS if you have not watched Episode 12 of The Asterisk War as this is taking place near the end of the episode! You have been warned!*
Their battle in the Festa were over now, but now everyone knew about Ayato's limit of his savage force that he had. According to Julis because he broke the seal he wouldn't be able to move that well the next day.
"Don't worry I'll figure something out," Ayato said
As part of her response Julis grabbed Ayato's hand and proceeded to lift his arm, in which Ayato reacted instantly as he winced in pain. As Julis let go of his arm she proceeded to speak.
"Look at you, you're one to talk. How are you so optimistic about this?"
"It's not like that, I know this is serious, but…I have to keep my promise." Ayato responded
"Promise, what promise?"
"I said I'd have your back, don't you remember Julis?" Ayato asked
At that moment heat began to rise in Julis' cheeks as she blushed furiously adverting her gaze from Ayato
"I-Idiot! Why blurt out something like that?"
"At this point I'm just going to be doing the same thing over and over so…" Ayato began as he winced sitting up before continuting "It's about time…that I faced up to the seal once and for all, you know?"
Julis stared at him for a moment before moving her hands onto his face pulling him closer to her a bit
"Don't try to fight it alone Ayato." Julis said before bending down in front of him so they were the same height, never moving her hands as she continued to speak "We're partners after all, if you're going to have my back then I'm going to have yours as well."
"Thanks, Julis." Ayato smiled
A small blush returned to Julis' cheeks as she and Ayato found the space between their faces getting smaller and before they both knew it there lips were touching as they kissed. Both had a warm feeling flow through them as they kissed. Of course the kiss was short lived as Julis heard the sound of the door opening as she quickly pulled away trying to quickly regaining her composer as she turned away from Ayato as Kirin, Claudia, and Saya entered the room wondering if Ayato was alright.
Yeah so one-shot drabble recall of what happened in episode 12 but only if the others entered the room a moment later, I won't continue it as you know what plays out the rest of the scene as it plays out like what happened in the episode at the end here.
