Note - This is a sequel to the story, "Her Identity", so make sure you read that first before going on to this story.
I do not own any of the characters from this amazing show, they are creations of Thomas Astruc, Jeremy Zag, Wilfred Pain, and many more.
The other characters included are Plagg and Tikki, Mireille Caquet and Aurore Beauréal. Hawk Moth is only mentioned, I haven't given the character much justice and he is
portrayed in a way that people from the show feel he is like, not the way I feel he is like.

Confirmation
The sun shone brightly through the attic window of the Dupain-Cheng bakery. Checking her phone for the time, Marinette did her hair and went out through the front door of the bakery. She reached just in time to school that morning. The KIDZ+ studio was going to organise a small party for the students of Collège Françoise Dupont that evening as Mireille Caquet and Aurore Beauréal from the school had been working as the weather girls for the last seven months.
"Girl, you have to totally come today evening", said Alya.
"I am definitely coming", said Marinette as she approached the entrance of Collège Françoise Dupont.
Just then Adrien and Nino came up the stairs.
"Hey Adrien are you coming to the party at the KIDZ+ building today evening ?", asked Alya.
"Yes, I am, my father allowed me to go, since my Chinese teacher is on leave for a couple of days", said Adrien.
"Well that's cool dude, though I have a feeling that Alya has another motive for going there….."said Nino.
"Of course, I do", said Alya.
"What motive ?", asked Marinette.
"Mireille Caquet", said Alya.
"Oh, of course, the actual Ladybug", whispered Marinette.
"Exactly", said Alya, "Well I want to confirm", she said further.
"I am sure is, after all, she is kind…", said Marinette.
"Amazing…", continued Alya.
"Devoted….", said Nino.
"And helpful", finished Adrien.
"Alya, surely, you're not going to reveal her identity ?", asked Marinette
"Of course not, I am just going to confirm and this is the perfect opportunity for she works there", said Alya…
"Unfortunately, Ladybug and Chat Noir won't be coming…", said Nino.
"She doesn't need to transform into Ladybug…", said Alya, "I am just going to ask her some questions, and you three better be there with me".
"Anytime", said Marinette as the four of them went to class together.
"Why Tikki ? I completely trust Alya…..she wouldn't reveal anything", said Marinette as she stood in the empty library.
"I still think that its not right for Alya to be under the impression that Mireille is Ladybug, what if Alya gets akkumatised,
then she'll tell Hawk Moth that Mireille is Ladybug or what if accidentally opens her mouth under excitement, we both that Mireille is not…..", said Tikki.
"And then if the akkumatised Alya tells, Hawk Moth, he'll harm Mireille, thinking her to be Ladybug or even Alya might find herself in danger too, meaning that there's a risk of Alya being under the impression that Mireille is Ladybug…." said Marinette.
"Not to mention, that Nino and Adrien are under that impression as well, what if they get akkumatised….", said Tikki.
"Yes, you're right, that means Mireille's life is danger…Oh Tikki, I never thought things would be so complicated", said Marinette.
"You've got to do something Marinette", said Tikki.
"Yes, I know,…", said Marinette thinking.
"Of course, Tikki, I know just what to do", she said, snapping her fingers as she rushed out of the library.
"What sort of lame excuse is this ?", asked Alya as she, Nino and Adrien stared at Marinette.
It was around four o'clock, and the four of them were just outside school, a block away from the Dupain-Cheng bakery.
"Oh come on Alya, be reasonable, if my parents need help, then I have to help them", said Marinette.
"But then that means, that you wouldn't be able to come today evening", said Alya.
"That's alright, there's always a next time", said Marinette.
"That's funny", said Nino.
"What is ?" asked Marinette.
"Adrien and I went to the bakery today during the lunch break to buy some croissants, and we asked your parents, if you're coming today evening, and they said you could go because they already finished all the work and the bakery will be closed this evening", said Nino.
Marinette laughed.
"Why are you laughing? ", asked Adrien
"Nino, when I say I have to help my parents, it doesn't mean always mean in the bakery, I have to help them
with other stuff as well, such as cleaning and preparing some chocolate chips for tomorrow, because there's a special sale on chocolate chips tomorrow, besides feeling that they needed help for that purpose, I offered to help them, a few moments after you left", said Marinette. Why did those two have to go to the bakery today of all days !
"Alright girl, you can stay at home but I am going to tell you the news tomorrow and you better be interested", said Alya.
"Alya, the news spells L-A-D-Y-B-U-G, who wouldn't be interested ?", said Marinette waving her hand as she head towards the bakery.
"It's a good plan", said Tikki when Marinette entered her room.
"Yeah, I told my parents, I'd help them and clean my room, which as you can see, is already clean, besides I already finished making the chocolate chips yesterday, and thankfully, I forgot to tell my parents about that. Then I told my friends, I'd be cleaning at home, that way everyone thinks I am at home", said Marinette.
"While you'll actually be at the KIDZ+ building party as Ladybug, so that Alya will realise she was wrong about Mireille being Ladybug", said Tikki.
"Tikki, its just that, I feel so bad that I have to lie to Alya, she'll be so sad when she figures out that Mireille isn't Ladybug and that her efforts were vain", said Marinette.
"Yes Marinette, but we don't have a choice, if it means keeping everyone around you safe", said Tikki.
"Yeah you're right, that way Mireille and Alya, both would be safe", said Marinette, "we've got to get going to the weather station party",
"Tikki, SPOTS ON !",
Ladybug swung her yoyo from the balcony and jumped from rooftop to rooftop to reach the KIDZ+ building.
"Look its Ladybug", said the crowd who were apparently outside the KIDZ+ building. People were having drinks, snacks and many were gossiping and chatting among themselves.
As soon as she heard the name, "Ladybug", Alya turned around to see the super heroine on a rooftop next to the station.
"See guys, she's here", said Alya. Adrien and Nino looked at the super heroine who jumped down and approached the crowd. She was soon welcomes by a group of fans who swarmed towards her, asking for her autograph, and she signed happily, while talking a sentence or two with all the fans who were surrounding her.
"See Mireille isn't here, and Ladybug is", said Alya, "So now I am super sure its Mireille".
"Hurt to burst your bubble, Alya, but…..", said Nino pointing at a girl behind Alya.
Alya and Adrien turned behind. Mireille, had arrived in her limo, along with Aurore who was carrying her parasol as usual.
"That's impossible…wait…..this means…oh no!….My scoop was wrong again…..", said Alya with frustration.
"It's Okay, Alya, calm down" said Nino, "Its not the end….someday you'll come to know who she is", said Nino. He hoped he could encourage Alya as much as possible.
Alya sighed and said, "Yeah, you're right Nino, lets go and see around, now that we're here…", said Alya.
Suddenly the trio heard a sharp cry from a distance.
"Go away, he's been akkumatised", said one of the people from the crowd.
This caught Ladybug's attention as she started ordering everyone to evacuate. Soon everyone left, except of course for Alya
who was keen on filming the fight for the Ladyblog and Nino who stayed behind to watch over Alya, in case she tried to do something foolish.
Adrien walked around the building, when he was sure he saw no one, Plagg came out of his jacket.
"I was right, Plagg, Ladybug isn't Mireille", said Adrien.
"Yeah well, whatever, are you going to give me my camembert or are you going to transform…?", he asked.
"Its the latter", said Adrien, "Plagg, CLAWS OUT"…
Chat Noir soon joined Ladybug and they fought for a while, defeated the akuma and Ladybug cleansed everything with
her, Miraculous cure….
She was about to leave when Chat stopped her, "M'Lady, come with me, there's something I need to tell you….."
"Chat, but were about to transform back", she said.
"You still have four spots left, please come with me…..", he literally begged her with all the sincerity, he could muster, that she finally gave in.
"Alright, but only for two minutes", she said.
They walked inside the station, while Alia and Nino were distracted by the having a conversation with the akkumatised victim.
As soon as they entered, Chat took Ladybug's hand by surprise and the duo went into an empty room.
"Chat, what are you doing ?", asked Ladybug as she felt her heart beat faster and faster as Chat came towards her.
"Ladybug, I know who you are…" said Chat.
"What !", Ladybug said as she stood in disbelief.
"I know you're not Mireille", he said further.
"No , I am not", said Ladybug.
"I am going to reveal my identity, M'Lady, I can't hold it back anymore, I've waited so long…", said Chat..
"What are you doing…", Ladybug was about to say something further when…..
"Plagg CLAWS OUT", said Chat….
A bright green light filled the small empty room they were in…
When Ladybug opened her eyes, she saw that Chat Noir was no longer in front of her, but rather someone familiar, someone she knew…..
