Seamus and Lavender

The air was clear, as he made his way into the saddest place he had ever know. Seamus wasn't even across the stone entryway when he broke down in tears. Feeling a hand being pushed into his withered broken hand, he turned and looked into the same, yet different, sparking brown eyes. They reminded him of her.

Picking up a flower, Lavender sniffed the brightly colored petals as she tried to keep her mind from wondering to the boy that always seemed to set things on fire. Ron was sweet, but she knew that he would never truly be hers. If somehow they did end up together, she would always be second to that righteous know it all Hermione. Lavender smiled as she saw Seamus enter the garden in the corner of her eye.

1 year later.

Lavender was terrified as she threw curse after curse at the incoming Death Eaters, but she wasn't do so good. They were pushing her closer and closer into a corner and soon they would be on top of her.

"Lavender!" she heard someone scream as a bright green light hurtled past her. "Run!" Quickly she spun around, smiling she saw Seamus fighting his way toward her just as a fierily red pain exploded at her neck and light turned into dark.

Seamus was fighting to get to where Lavender had fallen. He thought that she was safe after throwing the death curse at the Death Eater that was attacking her, but he had to watch has a giant shape appeared out of nowhere and attacked her.

"Lavender!" Seamus cried as he pulled her motionless body into his lap.

"Shh, Seamus it will be alright, I'm not going anywhere." Lavender whispered

And she never did. For weeks following the Battle of Hogwarts, Lavender remained in critical condition at St Mango's, and Seamus never left her side. Lavender eventually healed, but she always felt pain in her neck. Soon after Lavender left the hospital she and Seamus got married and spent a happy 50 years together.
