Kylo Ren stared at his grandfather's helmet, still distressed at this whole thing. Starkiller base had been destroyed because of his failure, there was a force sensitive running around with the complete map to Skywalker and the potential to become a Jedi, and the first order was in chaos... "What do I do?" He whispered, not expecting an answer.

Suddenly, a person appeared from nowhere, wearing the robes of the Jedi, with a face he had only seen in pictures. "Anakin?" He asked. "Kylo Ren. You disappoint me."

"I don't care what you think. Darth Vader is my grandfather, not you!"

"As you wish," Anakin said, frowning. He shifted shape, turning into Darth Vader. The giant figure towered over him, arm's crossed. "We are the same person, you know." Kylo Ren looked up at his hero in amazement. He had never actually talked to Vader, but he had known his grandfather was watching over him all his life.

"Vader! I need your help." Vader sighed. "You have disowned your name and your family. I am not your grandfather." Kylo looked up at him, angry. "They were weak! They made me weak! You disowned your family too!"

"You need a history lesson, boy. I turned against the Jedi to save my wife and child. I turned against the Sith to save my son. You are playing at darkness. Go back to your mother, Ben. Go home."

"That is NOT my name!" He screamed, wondering if this was just an advanced hologram. The ghost of Darth Vader drew his lightsaber, the blade glowing purplish-red because of the blue tint that was apparently a characteristic of force ghosts.

Kylo drew his blade, the saber humming with the instability that came from being overcharged. He made the hilt to vent the power. It was poorly made, but served its purpose. Vader swung at him, and he blocked, but just barely prevented Vader from decapitating him. He swung at Vader, but he didn't bother to block as it went through him.

"You can hurt me but I can't hurt you? That's not fair!" Kylo whined. Vader ignored him and sliced right through Kylo's lightsaber. Pieces of the lightsaber scattered across the ground.

"You can't defeat me with your blade just as you cannot argue with me. You can not best me, as a Sith. But if you turn to the light now, you could become twice the Jedi I ever was. You killed your own father to get into the cool kids club. You really need to re-think your life."

Vader offered his lightsaber to Kylo, and he took it. Then Vader disappeared. He looked down at the lightsaber. It fit his hand better than the one he had made.
