Ode to the Fallen

Though they were lost,

now they are found,

carried to your forest,

homeward bound.

Forever gone,

their memory to be cherished,

for we will see the dawn,

and live as they wished.

We will long mourn,

though we cannot be forlorn,

for every loss there's a gain,

and his life was not in vain.

Let his sword and spear,

be taken to you,

and let there be a year,

where they're born anew.
