A/n: So here I am with my OC Exchange fic! This time around, I thought I'd take a stab at poetry.
There will be several poems coming along, probably around seven. And all different types, though each will focus on Mei-mei, Enishi and all related instances.
If you don't know who Mei-mei is, well, you can enjoy these poems anyway, or you can have even more fun by reading Kie-san's brilliant fic Once Upon a Time in Shanghai/
So enjoy post number one, the haiku.
I. Haiku
Starving, desperate
Two souls are saved on the streets
Of Shanghai, China
Pretty much my first haiku ever. And it took me only about...a week, to write.
