De muses, de found the innah Remy LaBeau in meh. Anyways I thought I would write this because this pairing is just that awesome. It is SLASH! Be warned!!!!
Remy loved the sky like this, deep reds and purples swirling together. It reminded him of that horrible uniform they used to make him wear, which brought up interesting thoughts of Logan's yellow spandex. Chuckling, he realized that was, indeed, the main reason he was here tonight, on top of the roof. Logan and his damn Loganness drove him here, knowing said man would find him here.
Remy sighed. He'd liked the man who acted more wolf than human at the moment he saw him all of those years ago. He wasn't sure when, exactly, those feeling turned into love though. Remy could pinpoint it to a summer two years ago. Hell, he could even pinpoint the day he realized it! July 12th, hottest day that year, as far as he was concerned.
-Flashback-
It had been his birthday and everyone got him lots of gifts, threw him a huge party, and then went to bed. As Remy carried all of his gifts to his room, he dropped a few things. They were caught by a pair of large, strong hands, the owner of which followed him to his room silently. Smiling at him, Logan placed them with the other gifts on the chair in the corner of the room.
"I wanted to give ya my gift alone, since I'm not usually one for gifts." The older man said this in a gruff voice, like he was almost…scared? Yes, Remy could feel it in the air now, the nervousness, contempt, fear that he would not like the present. "Oh, mon ami, t'ank you so much. Remy knows he will love it." Opening the nicely wrapped box he realized he had not lied.
Inside was the most gorgeous carved leopard. Remy looked at Logan with a question in his eyes. He didn't even have to ask it out loud."Ya remind me of a leopard, cat like grace, glowing eyes and all that." Logan shrugged, rubbing the back of his neck. "Remy love it, Logan, t'ank you. So much, its da mos' special t'ing anyone evah done fo' Remy. Makin' somet'in' fo' him, Remy means." Clearing a space on his shelf, Remy placed it there with almost reverent care,
There was a pause when Logan met Remy's eerie red and black eyes, but the moment was broken by Bobby. Logan pulled open the door and nearly ran to his room, slamming the door shut.
-End Flashback –
Now, as Remy sat here, he caught the woodsy, musky scent of The Wolverine and he grinned. Jumping up and whirling toward the window, he saw said man climb through the window he had used himself. Logan was tall, gruff and masculine. Remy would not believe that this man was in love with him, if not for the fact he was an empath. Turning back to the sky, Remy saw that it was a deep purple color, with pinpricks of light scattered across the heavens.
Leaning into a set of arms that wrapped themselves around his waist, a voice in his ear said, "Happy birthday, babe."
So? This is a one-shot. No matter how many reviews come in for this one it stays a one-shot. Don't bother begging, please. Reviews are welcome though.
