So what
if I see the sunshine
In the
pouring rain
Some
people think I'm crazy
But you
say it's okay
You've
seen my secret garden
Where
all my of flowers grow
In my
imagination anything goes
Lucy Pevensie sometimes felt like the only person who really understood her was herself. She was furious. She had found a foreign land in the back of the wardrobe in the spare room. Was that really odd? She knew what she saw. She saw Narnia and Mr. Tumnus and she heard the Narnian lullaby. She knew it happened. She was upset that Peter, Susan and Edmund would think she would lie. Then when Edmund had gone he lied about it! They were outside playing cricket. She told them she would rather read and was going to library to find a book. Luckily Susan had forgotten the book she was reading and Peter had told her to go outside once she found a book she liked. Lucy had a mission.
Pausing in front of the door of the professor's study Lucy looked for the MacReady. She was giving a tour at the moment and Lucy knew she had to act quickly if she wasn't to be caught. Knocking lightly on the open door frame Lucy held her breath.
"Come in young one." The professor didn't seem angry she was bothering him.
"Professor, um, sir I have a question for you if you don't mind me asking." Lucy said apprehensively.
"Ask away." Professor Kirke smiled at her.
"Did you ever notice anything unusual about the upstairs wardrobe in the spare room?" Lucy bit her lip waiting to be told to leave.
The professor's eyes twinkled as he thought about where the wood came from and The Lion that gave him it. "No child I haven't but I do believe that anything is possible if you believe. What ever occurred to you near or in that wardrobe was meant to happen and It's okay that you believe it did. Now your siblings are probably waiting for you. Go out in the fresh air.
Later that day when the professor found the four of them in a pile outside the wardrobe and gave Lucy and knowing wink and she smiled because someone else understood.
