Hey, everyone. Since Christmas is tomorrow, I'd thought I'd get into the spirit and post a poem for the season to share. Hope you all enjoy, and have a Merry Christmas!

Everyone hurries in and out of stores, carrying bags by the dozen
Packing their cars to visit relatives for the holiday season
Drinking warm cocoa to keep themselves from feeling frozen
So busy with the rush that they often forget the reason
How Christmas came to be
Children wrote out letters to send to Santa Clause
While mothers made yummy treats
Fathers going out into the woods with saws
To find the best Christmas trees
When they're not buying or mailing or wrapping goods
Or sledding through the hills down yonder
Or baking delicious holiday food
Do they ever stop to wonder
How Christmas came to be?
Let us give thanks and say a prayer for Christ the King
Who was born that glorious night
Who gave us hope and love to sing
For generations with delight
He showed us love we could not compare
To whatever gifts we would receive
God gave Him to us, with His love to share
Which was the greatest gift of all…
And how Christmas came to be.
