Lucy gazes at the man for an agonising time and she decides that she has nothing really left to say in return., like what else does she say? 'I forgive you' Not now, not after 21 years.
With that begin said and done, Lucy grabs her fiance's hand heads towards the door, exiting the room and leaving her Father all alone.

And with that begin said, Natsu and Lucy couldn't be happier, well not until the day by the alter of course, though that would have to most definitely wait. Even so, Natsu and Lucy believed they had all the time in the world.
As the sun is about to set, Natsu looks down at the tired blonde and thinks about a mini Lucy or a mini-him running around, and he was ecstatic at the thought. The pink haired man could only whisper one thing.
"I promise to not be a deadbeat Dad like your Father, I'll be the man you were happy to say yes to" that is all she needed in life.
