An ocean of memories and a ship of dreams

Is this what I wanted in life ? No I wanted to be wrapped safely in his arms but instead I was trapped by this monster.

I couldn't even look at him as he stood with a twisted smile on his face. I mean I knew he was evil but this, this was just plain sick! My thoughts were interrupted when an old voice croaked.
"Do you Caledon Hockley take Rose Dawson to be your lawfully wedded wife?" the priest asked, smiling warmly. I chuckled slightly when Cal winced at the name.
"I do!" Cal answered, glancing at me. I could practically hear the smug tone in his voice.
"Do you promise to respect her and love her and never let go of that promise?" the priest's voice suddenly became distant and everything went fuzzy as my body froze at those words.

* Flashback *
"I love you Jack."
"Don't you do that Rose, don't you say your good-byes."
"I'm so cold."
"You're going to get out of this... you're going to go on and you're going to make babies and watch them grow and you're going to die an old lady, warm in your bed. Not here. Not this night. Do you understand me?"
"I can't feel my body."
"Rose, listen to me. Listen. Winning that ticket was the best thing that ever happened to me. It brought me to you. And I'm thankful for that, Rose. I'm thankful."
"You must do me this honor... promise me you will survive... that you will never give up... no matter what happens... no matter how hopeless... promise me now, and never let go of that promise."
"I promise."
"Never let go."
"I promise. I will never let go, Jack. I'll never let go."
* End of Flashback*
"Rose, darling!" Cal hissed, jabbing me in the ribs slightly. I winced in pain. I looked up at him, his cold eyes glaring into mine. I had to run.
"No!" I screamed, struggling out of his grip. "You, you are just a monster and my heart will always belong to Jack!" I shouted, tears streaming down my face. I looked around my guests until I found her, my mother.
"I'm sorry mother. Goodbye." I looked at her with no emotion on my face before turning and running out the church door. My heart belonged to the man named Jack Dawson, a penniless third class passnger with stunning blue eyes, and it killed me to know that I wouldn't see them again for a long time but I did know that when the time was right, I would be reunited with him. He would be waiting at the clock for me with a warm smile on his face and a glow in his stunning eyes. Right there at that moment, standing in a dark alley in a wedding dress, I finally realised what everyone meant.
'Titanic was call the ship of dreams and it was, it really was.'
