The Agreement
Summary: Rumours about the First Lady's sexual orientation start to circulate and Donna and Annabeth decide to get a reporter to help them deal with the rumours. Annabeth forgets to tell something about the reporter in question.
'Annabeth what are we going to do about the rumours about the First Lady being bisexual?' Donna asked. 'Are we in a position to do a complete denial?' Donna did not answer merely raised her eyebrows. 'In that case you should have an evening meeting with a White House reporter and persuade them to help us kill the rumours. I think I know just the person.' 'Who?' 'Katie Witt, the reporter who works for the Times.' Donna thought about the suggestion for a while before saying. 'Go ahead and set it up.'
Two days later Donna was in her office when her assistant Katherine showed in Katie Witt for her evening meeting. Donna was starting to get wary about taking the meeting after Annabeth gave her instructions on what to wear. For some reason Annabeth thought it was important that she wore a skirt. The look on the reporter's eyes did nothing to put Donna at her ease. Coffee had been set up on the table in front of the sofa in Donna's office again at Annabeth's suggestion. Donna stood up when the reporter came in and shook her hands as she conducted her to the sofa; while noting that the reporter was wearing trousers.
'Thank you for finding time to meet with me.' Donna started. 'A meeting with arguably the second most important female in the country of course I would find the time.' 'The ground rules this meeting is strictly off the record it did not happen.' 'I rather thought that was the case when all my bags and coats were taken off me so I have nothing to write with and cannot record anything.' 'Good help yourself to coffee. As I did not work in communications when I was in the West Wing I am not as familiar with the press corp. as I would like so I need some help.'
Due to the size of the couch the gap between the two women was not that great and made smaller by them facing each other. Katie said 'Of course if I can help. Oh fuck it damn the consequences.' With this she swung her legs so that she straddling Donna who surprised by the reporters action had frozen into inaction. Katie leaned forward and kissed Donna while squeezing a breast eliciting an involuntary groan. Katie started undoing the buttons on Donna's blouse to give her greater access to Donna's breasts which she started fondling, while still kissing a surprised Donna. Coming out of her state of shock Donna started to struggle with the reporter who she eventually managed to push off.
Katie coming to her senses said. 'Sorry about that it is just that I have had a crush on you for some time and I could not resist the temptation.' 'Well I will not tell anyone in particular Josh but you need to do something for me.' 'What?' 'I need you to help kill the rumours about the First Lady's sexual inclinations.' 'I suspect we both know that the rumours are true but as I do not need to get on the wrong side of the White House Chief of Staff I will do it.' Donna had a thought 'This is not the first time you have forced yourself on another woman is it? 'I am pleading the fifth on that.' Katie responded laughingly.
The following day Donna called Annabeth into her office. 'I have Katie on board with helping us. Next time you leave out information you will find yourself working for Lou.' 'So the rumours about her are true then.'
