Some (20) Questions About the Harry Potter Series
1) Why didn't anyone just shoot Voldemort 7 times?
1a) Like with a gun? Or a magic gun? He'd never expect it. How many people's reflexes are faster than the speed of a bullet? Not many, I'm sure.
2) How could J.K. put Harry with Ginny when Hermione and Harry were so perfect for each other? (In my opinion)
3) How come wizard fashion is so far behind muggle fashion?
4) Is it really ethical to cut up Mandrake roots when they seem to be sentient, or at least brain-having creatures?
5) Why didn't the wizarding world conjure up food and end world hunger?
6) Why are there apparently no wizarding schools in anywhere but Europe?
6a) Are there no wizards or witches in North or South America or Africa?
7) Since when does constant bickering and arguing like Ron and Hermione do equal love?
8) How come Harry's mother was the only person out of all the people Voldemort killed who died to save someone else? I find that very hard to believe.
9) Doesn't the whole love can protect all and such mean that if one person had died trying to kill Voldemort, i.e. save everyone from him, out of a love for humanity, Voldemort wouldn't have been able to touch or kill anyone?
10) How did Dumbledore, or anyone else for that matter, not notice that Quirrel had a freakin' FACE on the back of his head?
11) Also, does that mean that Voldemort got to see Quirrel poop?
12) Here's a big one; How is the house of Slytherine even allowed to exist? If the majority of it's members were evil?
13) This one really bugs me; What happened to the mini dragons that the competitors of the Tri-Wizard Tournament received? Did they die? Or not? In that case, why didn't every wizard ever have a mini dragon as the awesomest pet EVER?
14) Is it ethical to create/ transfigure random objects into living creatures? What happened to the creatures after they're done in the class? Are they transfigured back? Isn't that like killing them? Or does Hagrid have a much bigger job than we are led to believe?
15) Why are wizards stills using quills? There's a reason muggles stopped, it's 'cause they're inefficient, splotchy, and the ink wells tend to spill a lot.
15b) Where did they get that many ostrich feathers from anyway? Are there magical ostrich farms?
16) Why does the magic community use owls to communicate? They're not especially fast, and they poop a lot. And are actually very hard to keep in captivity, very high maintenance.
17) Does Voldemort have to poop? Is it evil poop?
18) WOW time-travel. What about all the paradoxes surrounding time-travel? Is it really common enough that a student gets to do it? If it's that common, do you really expect the reader to believe no one has ever created a paradox?
19) Does one have to replace a wizard's chess set every time one plays, as the loser's pieces are destroyed?
19b) Are the chess pieces alive? Do they have sentience? What rights do they have?
20) How come the Weasley twins weren't charged with poisoning people when they brought in their candies that make people vomit and tested them on younger students. That's actually illegal you know.
